Thanks to my wounderful friend Mary, ebfan41 for sendin and sharin this wounderful video with me and to TheWolfmanMark for sharin this wounderful video with us. I don't mind the tumble weeds, but I was out in Arizona about 7 years ago and they have have those dirt devils that look like a mini tornado come across the desert and they run into somethin and explode it's just wild. Thanks so much God Bless, Hugs & Smiles, Love, Jan
Like Loretta, the only version I ever knew was Gene Autry's! Don has a very unusual twist on this oldie.... I like it ! thanks WolfmanMark and thanks Mary for sharing.
Thank you Mark for posting this very different rendition of "Tumbling Tumbleweeds" sung solo by Don. This is from his first solo album "Don Everly" and it is my favorite song on the album. 5*****
I never heard this song given the "Don Everly treatment" before! I like the "rockin' tumbleweeds!" Very dramatic and different from Gene Autry's version that I remember so well. Great post, Mark! (And thanks , Mary, for the request! Now we get to hear it, too!)
@justmusicandme Thanks Loretta and Mary, wouldn't have missed this for the world! I'll have to look for that CD featured on here too- some very unfamiliar tracks on there!
Thanks to my great friend Mary for sharing this great video with me and to TheWolfmanMark for sharin with us. I enjoyed it very much God Bless, Hugs & Smiles, Love, jan

Sounds like a wee-bit of experimentation. Good band and, of course, vocals.

@Chiselnyc, Don is " bending those notes" like Chet Atkins warned him about on one of the demos . You know Chet wasn't controlling this one, lol!!
