I like your footage, and it does look like Philly! (I live there.) Though living there for a long time, I have never seen any yellow taxis looking like that. We mostly have white taxis!
@retrogroovygal111 Thank you. It's a pity they didn't use Philadelphia but it has been a lot of fun for us Glasweigans and the tourists. You will have to write to Brad and tell him he has the wrong colour of taxis.

Yeah, I couldn't understand why they couldn't film in Philadephia, but you guys probably have a taste of Philly, they should add some cheesesteaks and water ice places becaue we have a lot of them here, but it looks so similar to Philly it is not even funny. @monkey08642 The mayor of Philly suspended tax breaks in the month they were scheduled to film. So they moved to Glasgow instead. As a Glasweigan who's been to Philly quite a few times... i'm not entirely sure why they didn't wait.
@Rsx1rokr Not sure, I have just started reading the book and have not came across Philadelphia yet. But films don't always follow the book anyway. It's just entertainment after all.
@myclydebankphotos The film actually has nothing to do with the book! Apart from being set in the same universe. Which is a shame really because some of the characters in the book are absolutely fascinating.
Enjoy it! Paul Redeker is one of my favourites, the film sadly will not be a series of interviews. It'll just be brad pitt running around saving the world.
@Rsx1rokr That's a pity. I am enjoying the book so far. I am not a great fan of Zombie movies but the book is a good read. I suppose some books don't translate well into a movie, now a TV series following the book would be good then they could do it as the interviews and tell the story that way. That would be good.
well all I know is they've better have the battle of yonkers in this movie or fans of the book will be leaving the theater

Why Glasgow and not Philly? Well, I would imagine it would be for the same reason Braveheart was mostly filmed in Ireland rather than Scotland :)

What bit of the book was in Philly? I mean other than the battle of Yonkers I don't remember much of it being set on the east coast.
