Morton Gould and Leonard Bernstein have Kennedy Center Honors and jazz leanings in their works in common. If this disc is any indication, Gould's works are more entertaining. Not every work that could be a hit gets the attention it deserves, especially if the music doesn't cross enough music directors' desks.
