  • i would have asked to stay in the south and to tell the north i had died, probably saved my family but who knows.

  • Can someone please go to the DMZ and throw a stink bomb? Please? I want to see what the North's reaction would be.

  • If the soldier didn't go back, his entire family would most likely have been rounded up and put into work camps of death....... There's other documentaries about death camps in the NK. They stick defectors' families in there and throw away the key...

  • Is is why different countries rule the world

  • Did you notice how the North Korean soldier is skinny and small. And the four Americans are taller and overweight? Great propaganda for the North!

  • @MeinDeutsch1 Yeah. Even though those are high-ranking officers, that are older, that do less manual labor, and have lower physical fitness standards due to their age. Our 11B infantry has high physical fitness standards so you don't ever see an overweight infantry soldier. Pretty good propaganda for them. Those silly North Koreans would probably play it off that all American soldiers are fat.

  • @MeinDeutsch1 they are malnutritioned

  • sooooooo stupid he went back to north korea soooooo stupid why does he want to live there

  • @XP131313. I doubt that could he live any better in South after being in North Korean army

  • @isokessu sure , it doesnt means he is supporting norht korea just because hes in the army. everybody has to go to the army there. I think they have 1mio soldiers one of the biggest army in the world

  • He went straight to reeducation camp or death camp...

  • South Korea soldiers looks badass.

  • @FunkRSFtw Yea I think they have a minimum height requirement at the DMZ for the South Korean guards.

  • That guy is dead.

  • Someone needs to let North Korea know that the comically over-sized hats are now out of fashion. I don't blame them, they've been out of the loop for like 60 years. But enough is enough, no more comically over-sized hats...

  • @Swertzer Not my right. But if NK keeps bombing our SK allies then there shall be bombing.

  • "BUT I DONT WANNNA GO BACK!!!!!!"

  • I hope his son will be like Gorbachev.

  • This guy will probably go to jail anyways for being "exposed to the west"

There was a Russian WW2 war hero who was captured by Germans and put in a POW camp for a few years. When the camp was liberated he went back to russia only to be arrested for being exposed to the west... at a german POW camp... True story

Cant imagine what this guy will go through

  • @nnlamb25 That didn't just happen once - most Russian soldiers liberated from German concentration camps were sent to gulags as a punishment for surrendering. The same applied to jews and other minorities Stalin disliked. (I guess if that policy had been applied in France, the "grande nation" would have seized to exist ;-).

  • They should've let him go through the Bridge of No Return.

  • he probably had to go back otherwise they would probably send his family to jail or death

  • I bet they isolated him from any form of westernized or south korean media or culture, otherwise He'd be like but I want to stay in Imperialist south korea where all the hot plastic girls and fancy technology comes from :D

  • THE GUY IS SO DEAD!!

  • @USAdude30 SALUTATIONS AND HIGH FIVE

  • They are so smal compare to South Koreans and American soldiers.

  • Even If he had wanted to use the opportunity to defect, he knew that fatass Kim Jong il would have had 3 generations of his family (predecessors) in the concentration camps for life. He actually cared about them and didn't want them condemned just because he sought a better life. I hope Kim Jong il burns in hell as we speak.

  • water was created by god not south korea.

  • hes probably dead by now.

  • lol the guy was probably trying to defect..

  • I KNOW HE'S THINKING... I'M FUCKED !

  • @businesseast Why would he be thinking that?

  • @sarni786 he is to blame for drifting into the south, in communist thinking there's no room for error..except of course...negligence, improper conduct...which carries some penalty

  • @sarni786 You know what they do to deserters in N. Korea?

  • @sarni786 Lets just say that Soldier will have an early retirement !

  • What? The South Koreans didn't eat him?

  • america should bomb South Korea

  • @robloxpwnmaster3 Go gargle with buckshot.

  • @robloxpwnmaster3 um their our allies........

  • @historyman9 Facepalm

  • @robloxpwnmaster3 No dude you got it switched. it's North Korea we need to bomb. The communist place.

  • @McDogginified NO WE DON'T NEED TO BOMB ANY MORE PEOPLE

  • @renge9909 I would love to see you use your wordsto convince their crazy leader. Oh wait hes dead. Maybe the new crazier one that replaced him.

  • @McDogginified I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU USE YOUR WORDS TO CONVINCE THE NORTH KOREAN PEOPLE- y'know, the actual recipients of most of those bombs.

  • @renge9909 Didn't you see how they were moaning to their beloved dead leader? That dictator is the key. You think words were going to work on the crazy son of bitch hitler? No they weren't. Go ahead walk your ass over to north Korea and go preach your words to convice those people. Their going to think your a lunatic and a Korea Soldier is going to throw your ass in a concentration camp or execute you. Be my guest

    2 words. SHOCK and AWE

  • @McDogginified LIKE I SAID, CLANCY - WALK YOUR OWN ASS DOWN THERE, LOOK A POOR NORTH KOREAN IN THE EYE AND SAY "SHOCK... AND... AWE" IN YOUR GRUFFEST VOICE. TRY NOT TO ORGASM IN YOUR PANTS AT BOMBING PEOPLE AND DESTABLILIZING THE entire fucking region. let's see what they do to you then. BE MY GUEST. maybe your brilliant strategy of "the dictator is the key" will yield extraordinary dividends.

  • @renge9909 Then what the fuck is your stragety huh? If the North Korea wants to attack the South. Then expect of all NATO to attack. Simple as that. I smell the pussy on you. Go visit their country. And as your watching that lifeless country. Your going to see a guy following you around everywhere you go. That guy is going to be from the secret police. And stop copying my sentences and using caps lock on them. You damn child.

  • @McDogginified I SMELL THE DUMB ON YOU, BUT THEN YOU ALREADY KNEW THAT. REPEATING YOUR RETARDED SENTENCES BACK AT YOU OBVIOUSLY HAD ITS INTENDED EFFECT. YOU DAMN CHILD. now... you go visit their COUNTRY, CLANCY, like you're so eagerly talking about. SADDLE UP AND PUT ON A TEN GALLON. AND AS YOU'RE WATCHING THAT LIFELESS COUNTRY, YOU SWAGGER ON UP LIKE THE DUMB AS SHIT COWBOY YOU ARE AND YOU FUCKING TELL THEM "SHOCK....AND... AWE" THAT'LL PUT THE LIFE BACK IN 'EM.

  • @renge9909 Didn't even bother to read. Get some grammar and stop cap locking your shit.

  • @McDogginified NOPE YOU READ IT. YOU'RE JUST TOO EMBARASSED AT THE RETARDED SHIT SPEWED OUT OF YOUR MOUTH THAT I HAVE CALLED YOU OUT ON. BUCK UP CLANCY. MAYBE CHINA WILL START ACTING UP. MAYBE THEIR PRESIDENT IS THE KEY!!!! HAHAHAHA!

  • @renge9909 I'm not embarrased you fucking chump. I never bother to read cap lock comments like yours on youtube. I was tolerant at your shit at first and now I'm not. Look I never said anything about me attack the damn civilians I'm talking about their Military and crazy dictator it has nothing to do with the innocents. Does that answer your question?

  • @McDogginified You are right and I apologize for the rant, sometimes my medications don't work very well. I actually love and admire the USA most, which is apparent since by my writing and language, you can tell I am very Americanized. I don't know why I attack America so much, probably because I can never really be like you or live there. I am going to find a sponsor from the USA to help me become a Man. Sorry again, please forgive me.

  • @McDogginified In spite of their orchestrated displays of aggression toward SK and the US, there are really only a handful of people who are making millions of people in NK suffer, all the while telling those same people that we're the ones making them suffer. We don't need to bomb North Korea; we need to get at their leaders and generals.

  • @CabhanListis I know, I made a mistake. Look at the comment below yours.

  • @CabhanListis That is so true. Well said. its the damn dictators.

  • @CabhanListis There's no need to get at their leaders and generals - in recent years, even the bulk of the military has been starving, disillusioned and the number alone trying to escape is increasing every year - and the last thing any government would want is hordes of angry and dissatisfied soldiers going on mutiny and starting a massive rebellion. The regime's days are more or less numbered.

  • @88Scatter That administration is standing on half a century experience in thwarting coups and discouraging uprisings. Even how they position and face guards at the DMZ is by design. I just don't have the same hope you do.

  • @McDogginified North Korea isnt communist.

I love the way you tryed to be all smug yet show your stupid american ignoreance.

  • @CommissarXIV Your kidding me right? And I guess your going say Kim Jong II is going to give free cupcakes to his people and end poverty in his country as well? Oh wait hes dead maybe we have a chance with that son of his? Oh wait nevermind. "like father, like son"

  • @McDogginified North Korea is 'Juche'. And im not pro-Nk im against it.

    But NK isnt communist.

  • @McDogginified your sarcasm shows how ignorant and stupid you are. you dont seem to care much about this topic, right? anyways....only because Kim Jong Il was bad, it does not mean his son will too. his son has actually managed to do 2 good things since he came to power (not long ago) he might do bad stuff indeed, but he does think more than his father. i.e. willing to continue 6 -party talks and interested in the reunification..dont judge a person by his/her background /:

  • @CommissarXIV And you living in Australia should really know what communism really is? Your just a young misguided idiot that thinks it cool to wear a racist Chavez t-shirt and hold a red banner. Boy, you can really tell you have no clue about living in a communist country do you? Don't worry, it's just a fad and when you grow up you will see that you didn't know what you where doing. Just like the kids that collect nazi badges and play marching songs, you like to collect anything red & yellow.

  • @marinesnip I dont see what me being a communist really has to do with the fact that North Korea isnt communist... Its like saying Nazi Germany is communist. It just isn't.

If you read anything that Karl marx wrote or Lenin and Che you would see that north korea is nothing like communism.

  • @CommissarXIV I've read the manifesto, as I used to be young and idealist to. But that's the underlying problem with communism, its idealogical and thus dogmatic. It seeks to correct innate human evils with an economical system. On paper it may look fantastic, but every time it was put into practice on a large scale it has failed miserably. It always produces Stalins, Lenins, Kim Jongs, Mao's, etc..

  • @McDogginified no one should be bombed, damn fascist!

  • @PoWaaPoNy It's going to happen. Tell N.Korea to stop bombing our ally and no one will get hurt.

  • @McDogginified i hope so, i´m going to immigrate to the North with the age of 25.

But in fact North korea defendet their homeland with bombing the Island where South´s military was acting. This Island belongs to the north and its an agressive move when southkorea did military operations on it.

  • @McDogginified good go bomb those russsia now

  • ... Did it ever occur to you people that maybe, JUST maybe, he wanted to go back because he was content with his life in the North?

  • @ComradeMiller

There's certainly a possibility of that, but what we've learned from N. Korean defectors gives us several... darker possibilities that we can't just wave away.

  • everything that NTDTV reported are fake...

  • If he didn't go back, his entire extended family would probably be punished. It could vary from death to prison camps.

  • @hawaiiatheart - i'd rather chose death than to live in a NK prison camp

  • lol, he got OUT of that shithole, and he voluntarily goes back in, "rescued" back. that's how fucked the koreans living in NK are...

  • that guy was given a golden ticket out of there! There is no way I would go back.

  • You search for that soldier now in the North and he is no where to be seen!

  • haha small nk soldier

  • Comment removed

  • well i am sure he thought about what would've happened to his family in the north if he stayed.

  • the video stopped at the most worst possible time

  • i betcha he was like

NK: Thank you for saving me, so what's for lunch!?

Sk soldier: uh your going back to the north dude...

    NK: .....awww gay...

  • lol at the back right guy at 0:07 he made the left guy almost turn early too.

  • that reporter is hot !!!

  • If he said otherwise he would be executed for going AWOL

  • @Pikazilla if he had said other wise how can he be executed when they wont return him to North ? Not every body is like american soldier run away from Vaitnam war some even left country and went to canada. all i am saying learn to find good things in mist of all the bad.

  • if he stayed they woulda thought he was dead

  • @ 0:06 what if those Nkorean soldiers tumbled and went to the skorean side? o.O i wonder what happens next........

  • I wonder how effective the soldiers of north korea actually are? maybe they would jump at an opportunity to end their way of life or change their country? I hope this makes sense

  • @Cronini They are completely brainwashed. They have no idea of reality outside of N.Korea.

  • @csbob2010 shit man... if they were to go to war, do you think they would eventually become aware of what they could have? It might make them less effective? The only safe way for the rest of the world to change their country that I can see is an internal solution from their leaders which looks very far off.

  • @Cronini Perhaps, but they are fed complete bullshit and that is all they know. If you were told all your life of the evil enemy and told all these bad things, told how great your country and leader are...then told that they are just trying to lie and manipulate you and to not listen to their lies. Their gov. controls the media, all communications, everything. Anyone who opposes the gov. disappears. Just don't provoke them and that gov. should eventually fade away, In my opinion at least.

  • @Cronini Not very effective - many are suffering from lack of food, heat (during winter) and much of their equipment is old and not very well-maintained. They may have a massive artillery and anti-air defense force but then again, most are obselete and lack sufficient maintenance. Their air force gets only 24 hours of flight training every YEAR. They're likely to desert, surrender or even switch sides if a real war broke out.

  • ,,,I assume that the North Koreans/KPA would 'hand over' a ROK soldier who had

strayed adrift into N. Korean waters...?!

  • @jwm239 that would be a big no

  • the asian lady look hot.

  • @SNLF1943 ....if that is true then his immediate family is with him in the re-education death camps..... sad...

  • He had to go back or his whole family will be either killed or put in a concentration gulag camp....

  • Well, now that I think about it, the North Koreans are really people like us, ya know? They just live in poor conditions. We shouldn't hate North Korea, we should hate Kim Jung Il.

  • @MasterxOfxFilmArt I'm afraid it's more than that. Three or four generations have lived in the isolation and propaganda that is North Korea and have known nothing else that. They are most definitely NOT like us. While you're mulling over how kind they are, they are wanting to skewe your guts on a bayonet.

Take a look at one of those night time satellite views of Earth. Notice that NK is completely dark while the South is lit up like a grid.

  • North Koreans consider themselves at war with South Korea. Honestly, that's a POW they just let loose. He coulda spilled the beans about a lot of intel!

  • haha north korean marching fail! 0:07-0:09 look at soldiers at the back while the soldiers on the front are still marching

  • Comment removed

  • @technical010

aww? removed ur comment? realized how stupid u were?

  • He got out but chose to go back in? I'm dumbfounded.

  • he stays in SK...his whole family in NK is fucked

  • @matelotgeek

He may not have family, thats probably it.

  • they have honour, pride and loyalty that u wont find i european countrys and def not in usa, thats why he choose to go back

  • @deltaflow00000 you also wont find brainwashing and every book written by kim il-song and kim jong-il

  • Thats because you believe to much self satisfied pro west propaganda like 'matelotgeek'...open your mind..its a WHOLE world out their.

  • @yorubablk3 open your eyes and see that western culture has accomplished FAR more than any other culture in history. therefore it should be the ideology of choice

  • @fabio1456 U wrote "western culture has accomplished FAR more than any other culture in history."Yeah,if u only know 'history' as written by pro western culture sources!Duh

  • @yorubablk3 lol are you blind!? almost 100 percent of all modernization has come from the west. Almost every invention and innovation. Without the west the world would still be way it was 300 years ago...you cannot argue this. why else is the middle east so messed up. because the people there refuse to accept modernization and cling to an ideology that has advanced them very little in 2,000 years. Many Asian cultures have adopted western thought and concepts thus they prosper. Japan China SKorea

  • @fabio1456 Of course i'm not 'blind'.The 'west' achieved what it has in the last 700 by launching an undeclared global race war complete with western hemispheric genocide,a transatlantic trade in enslaved Africans, colonial aggression againts the peoples on all continents in war for permanant & full spectrum control of global resources.the 'gadjits' of the last 300 years was developed to refine & extend the former. That u & others r enamoured by it is the result of their relentless press.

  • @fabio1456

And without the Middle east you wouldn't have the precursor to modern tech. Pretty much everyone has made their mark in technological developmeny

  • @Diwwah You do know that when soldiers are found as a "traitor", the goverment will take his/her family into prison. Hence, the guy is either a big zealot or he doesn't want to harm his family.

  • @Diwwah

That is what happened when you have people who have in their nature to be more kind of followers then others but who are also brainwashed over the last 60 years, what means like 2 generations.

  • @Diwwah he has too. if he stays in south korea or goes somewhere else the NK goverment will kill his entire family.

  • @Diwwah It might surprise you to learn that North Koreans actually like North Korea. Do some research, rather than listening to everything the USA tells you.

  • @aleronstube I listen to what the entire civilized world tells me. There's enough material coming out from NK from several different journalistic and non-journalistic sources, both US and Europe-based ones, that all point towards the same thing. I can see that a small minority of elite, namely party officials etc. who get to live in Pyongyang in what passes for "luxury" in North Korea would be content in their circumstances, but they don't know any better, do they.

  • @Diwwah What do you call the civilized world? I know of very few countries with a low crime rate and a good government and economy. The USA can hardly be called civilized with their corruption index and way of governing. Have you ever been to North Korea? Perhaps seeing it for yourself would give you a new view on their culture and lifestyle.

  • @Diwwah You gotta be trolling me.

  • @aleronstube

But why do so many North Koreans cross into China every year despite the risk of being caught and sent back? Why do so many defectors speak of supplementing their rations with grass?

  • @dunnono00 There are also many American defectors, too. It doesn’t prove anything; it’s not evidence because someone says something in order to get a free pass.

  • @aleronstube

How many Americans defect into North Korea? And if they are already living in South Korea, why are the N. Korean defectors still saying bad things about the North despite already having their "pass"?

  • @dunnono00

How many Americans defected to North Korea?? around 10.

and there are 3 well known American Defectors to North Korea.

  • @aleronstube

    South to North: 10

    North to South: 14000

I think there may be a statistically significant trend here don't you think? How can this prove nothing? Those 10 Americans were obviously idiots that we do not need polluting the gene pool here in the US.

  • @frknnutz Source? Also, you show disdain for those who changed sides, why? It sounds like you have already made your mind up and are not open to debate.

  • @dunnono00 out of 25 million North Koreans in 1995-2000.. 5 million experienced starvation.. atleast 1 million died of starvation.. or untreated tuberculosis.. many died also of untreated pneumoniaor cold due to -20 Celcius temperature Today the government of the DPRK increase food production by reducing the Military budget to 25% of GDP instead of 50%.. and their economy grow by 3% after the famine STILL around 5% of North Korea today.. find it hard to EAT thats 1 million people
  • @Diwwah Theyre all brainwashed, so they dont know.

  • @91770158 No, because if they stayed their families would be killed. Its not a brainwashing issue.

  • @Diwwah They have very good propaganda in NK, that's why he might have not wanted to go to the imperialist american South.

  • @Diwwah

If he stayed, his family would have been either imprisoned or killed.

  • @Diwwah read the other top comment. but after 2 years you probably know it already ^^
