If someone adds taxes/work ethic/expertise or youth for the next generation, surely where they are born - that none of us choose - is irrelevant. If you go south of the border or to any other countries around the world you will find many of us Scots contributing as immigrants to society without receiving the type of commentary some of us dole out to our immigrant population. It is time some of us we realised this is a global society and joined the 21st century with the rest of the world.

I grew up in Stirlingshire, my family being from Strathearn. Nowadays, the area is FULL of English accents (Dunblane being a particularly notorious English colony in Scotland) An English salary goes a long way in Scotland. Culture, languages, all eroded away, a tide of Anglicisation.....need i go on?

I also happen to know people who work there and the place is a lot happier since. =] Shame the school still holds it against the rest of their staff and won't help them with news any more, cause they seemed to get some good stories together about the pupils going off on adventures for charity and things.

if you're gonna film something, try and point the camera at the item you're supposed to be filming. i used to go to that school and i hardly saw anything of the school other than where "Bert" the ice cream van driver used to park at lunch time and and the enterance to the technical department and a very brief glimpse of the assembly hall and the corridor leading to what used to be Mr Carson's music room.
