At least the owner could help the old kitty by brushing and wiping it down with warm, moist towels. I'm sure if kitty can't do the grooming himself, he'd love it if his owner helped out.
Honestly, it just looks like that cat is VERY old. I'm pretty sure that if it was sick during this video, the owner has taken it to the vet or it has been going to one. Jesus, can everyone calm down about it now?
The cat on the left might just be an old cat, not a sick cat. All of the different cats I've had over the years, when they get old their fur looks like that.
It usually drives me nuts when people act like know-it-alls on animal vids. With that said, this cat really does need the attention of a vet. I've had cats all my life and this one is very underweight. It could be a simple case of needing to be dewormed. If the cat makes you that happy, return the favor and spend a few bucks for some vaccinations & deworming.

@tamithomas Actually, I am not. I don't usually comment on this crap at all. But I know that look and it's not healthy. My elderly cat was beginning to look scrawny like that, too, but I took him to a vet and he was diagnosed with a medical problem. (And was treated for it, too, and no longer looks like that.) If I'd just rescued a cat, I'd be busy making a vet appt. I wouldn't have time to make videos. I guess my priorities are different.
