Science says nothing about what is "meant" to be, it only examines what is.

Sarah Palin and Joe Biden are both very intelligent human beings - I don't understand why they're against gay marriage. In the Constitution it says that all citizens should be treated equally. Heterosexual couples are allowed to marry, so if gays aren't, that is not treating them equally. It's really not that complicated.
