  • hello! can you make a video about how to make the waist n the hips?i work with the sculpey clay but its too hard...any advice?

sorry, my englishare not so good...i m from greece...

  • Hi Megan,

Do you know how to do the clear mermaid tails? I need this for my art assignment and it's my last semester in school. (Graduating)

  • A gum simulator! Now that's an awesome idea! I was looking at clay tools at craft stores and I couldn't bring myself to spend $10 or more on 1 clay tool. Plus a gum stimulator is a nice small size. Thank you for the info. :)

  • those breast slook pretty unrealistic I hope it's for a cartoon character

  • @ulujm Real breasts come in a wide range of shapes. Your comment makes you sound like a neckbeard. Cut it out.

  • @ulujm

no those breast look like a girl who got a breast job

  • can you do a tutorial on how to sculpt a male torso?

  • or in my case steal it from my husband XD nice job <3

  • can I do this whit the fimo?

  • im at Malaysia ,penang i really need clay for my resident evil project so any1 have information on where i can can get it in penang,Malaysia?

  • I made a cute frog out of polymer clay, so much nicer than your titis dolls.

I baked the frog and I added some of my own beautiful blond hair on the top of the frog's head, it looks lovely.

  • is it possible to sand?

  • @ThePeoplecom yes! this can be possible to sand

  • So I can get this kind of clay at like hobby lobby? I hope so.

  • Great presentation.Love it from head to toe

  • Thanks for the valuable information!

  • i like your voice.

  • ★★★so hard to keep off dirt off light clay★★★

  • if i make a form with different kind of clay and wrap it around with polymer clay, will it be ok to put them in the oven?

  • They look pretty good but I find it's easier to make them look natural if you sort of pinch them into a point to make the nipple. Not like REALLY pointy.. but you'll see what I mean once you start pinching them.

  • The biggest problem I have with polymer clay is baking because I only have a mcrowave oven. But I've boiled the clay until in hardened before.. Do you think it would be possible to boil a a polymer doll with a metal wire structure inside it?

  • @morphinemoniza You could make a test piece (just some clay around a wire) personally I don't see why it wouldn't work. :3

  • @morphinemoniza - Go to yard sales ( or thrift stores) and look for used toaster ovens. That's what i use as i designate a over esp. for polymer clay. Works great and only heats a small area.

  • WHERE ARE THE NIPPLES!?!?

  • SHOP MOREZMORE on ebay for MAGIC SCULPT!!! Instead of foil and tape... UISE Magic Sculp WONDERFULL ITEMS!!

  • A bit odd to start on the breasts before the figure has shoulders or a neck, isn't it?

  • no, because the shoulders and neck would make it top heavy, more than it already is, bending it wires

  • Everyone works differently- There is NO set way to do things!

  • Sculpey suggests 1/4" thick for baking...but once the armature is covered. the body has to be thicker than that! I've done some, and it can crack when layering more than 1/4" thick...but it HAS to be thicker to make a realistic sculpture. Any comments?

  • what does OOAK mean? anybody?

  • OOAK= One Of A Kind

  • How do you get the head to stay securly? When I did my secound sculpture the head slides down until the armature poked through the top and when i put a neck in it kinda squeshes the neck a bit.

  • its a good idea to wrap the top of the wire (where the head goes) with tape, making a little ball of tape then build up clay around that this way it had more support and will not slide down the bare wire.

  • wow! I would have nbever thought to use a gum stimulator! great idea! :-)

This is interesting! Thanks for sharing!

  • great tutorial, I'm just a beginner and I find it very helpful

I just want to ask you- how to make a skeleton like this one in your video?

  • by bending thin wire into the desired shape. :) im a beginner but thats kinda basic for me cause im into anamation

  • so much on the boobs

  • great dexterity, the hawk people are pleased!

  • nice. great tips.

  • After finished the Sculpting, If the Clay Model touch water, will it be softened?

  • Great tip on using the clay to pickup things on your hands. I was my hands good but always seem to still have lint transferring to my sculptures. From now on I'll keep a ball of clay to use after washing my hands. :)

  • Good job! You're amazing.

  • Awsome!

  • This is a great tutorial, and I'm here to thank you.

    It is very informative. Swamprosy

  • Great work! The Red Fairy says OOAK is the way!

  • Great video! Thank you for sharing!!

  • I'm interested in starting a hobby in clay modeling, what stores can I buy polymer clay?

  • Sculpey and Fimo are available at most craft stores. The clay I use, Kato I can only find online. Other brands: Prosculpt, Cernit

  • Thanks Megan :) one last question. What sort of price range should I be looking at when buying Sculpey/Fimo clay? I want enough clay to make at least a barbie-sized figure.

  • @stringfellowart Can you get polymer clay at Hobby Lobby?

  • @koneki1 actually I heard that Sculpey wasn't the best choice to use, but Fimo apparently a great brand

  • Very nice demonstration...thank you for sharing your art. Talented~
