Why submerge the entire rotor? Two pontoons with a curved paddle wheel, half submerged, would turn a bigger generator. Adding weighted keels with more surface area, and widening the front, would direct more water flow to paddle. Useful when current of water is slower. Just a thought. Wish I had a big stream in my backyard.
It would be more efficient if you lifted half of it out of the water so removing a lot of the drag. But then of course it would be called a waterwheel. What mugs would invest in this?
Nice ... flipwing may be has little problem about gravitation rear flipwing cause the center lost power.. Agree with you and clean energy keep moving forword..
and maybe make a fucking funnel to triple the amount of water passing the turbine...jeez...
