I agree with you to a point, the player is responsible for how they react to pressure and the crowd have the right to cheer and boo who they want but, i reckon booing Merv has become popular and a lot of fans are doing it for no other reason than that.

yeh your rite,the crowd are just seeing how much they can make him react basically its harsh bt its like a chain reaction 1 person starts booing before u no it half the crowd is...anyways i was glad to see merv beat taylor in the semi's i know taylor wasnt at his best but i think merv deserved it after a great premier league.

Mervin King is a class darts player, one of the best in the world and has done nothing to deserve the the treatment he recieves from darts "fans" when he comes to the stage.

king is a world class darts player no doubt,but the way darts is now its about the crowd, its like a more like a game of football now u pay your money and u can support who u want, its about how you can handle the crowd, james wade also got booed and his 1st 3 darts he hit 180 by the end people wer cheerin him he was so good, and he never let the crowd get 2 him. i guess my point is if merv didnt react 2 the crowd then he woudnt get such a hard time.
