I'll never forget the first time I heard "Big P" by The Cannonball Adderly Quintet on the radio...

And was like... HO-SH-! That's Clutch!

I guess this song either is a tribute to Cannonball Adderly or they just decided to straight rip the horns section from 0:46 of "Big P" for the intro to Clutch. Regardless, I love BOTH songs. =)

@inferno232 Honestly I made that comment a year ago, and since then I haven't seen any conclusive proof to back up the wiki article (which was apparently posted anonymously and has since disappeared). Furthermore, people have scanned the liner notes which clearly don't credit Herbie. I was totally had, but these guys sound ridiculously similar to V.S.O.P. in the late 70's (a huge compliment to them).

Just goes to show you can't believe everything you read on the internet I guess. :(
