the grooms and caretakers never get enough credit....i was reading the story about Mario Espinoza, zenyattas groom.....the grooms are some of the real miracle workers in the horse world...we owe it to them for taking such good care of these amazing racehorses.

if you have ever watched zen before and after her races, she seems to really adore him. its so cute.

As of today, 6-22, Zenyatta is entered in the Vanity Hcp. to be run next Sat. Not sure about Azeri. Rachel A. is to run in the Mother Goose at Belmont the same day. Be a great day for the 'Racing Ladies'.

Compare her attitude back in the barn where she is relaxed versus when she goes to the receiving barn & walking ring. She knows the difference, as well as why she's there.

She has such a presense about her. A intelligent horse interested in everything around her. If did not know who she was you would know immediately she was a champion. Even standing in barn she know's she's the best.

I love this filly. She is so calm and cool, doesn't fidget, try to bite or buck. Then she turns into an equine assassin on the track! Loved seeing her on Jockeys.
