2. I don't see why rejection of the idea of superiority can be selfish. A selfish person wants to be superior. I don't. in evolution altruism towards genetic relatives is common, even expected in most cases. in behavioral sciences altruism towards strangers had been documented, but in the form of punishing freeriders or social parasites. since the "least fortunate" are the primary candidates to become social parasites, the odds are against them.

We all have a mission to accomplished during our lifetime. When this is completed we all return to God. We are only passing through this finite world. Rachelle Mae understood the meaning of the transitoriness of her life and this is one of the reasons why she committed her young life totally for the poorest oft he poor. This was her misison. Now she is with her Creator.

May I suggest that you broaden your horizon and consider examining yourself of what is truly important in life. And on your comment regarding rebels dying as martyrs and soldiers don't, the main difference is that the rebels lived and died for the people, the other one, however noble their intention was, unfortunately lived and served for the oppresors.
