This is the ATV v1, just got my hands on a v2 device.
On versionb one you need to jailbrake, so you can start a finder to launch the ICA installer (uploaded using SSH) - Should be straight forward.

How do you add the ica client ? I don't own a apple tv but this could be a good option for me
