Well,this is quite a nice way to do it...I like the cannon-barrel design a lot... Have you tried using repeater delays to only use one button? Id like to know what the maximum block height you can get with that design.. You could always extend the charge and shot...I wonder how far you could get then... Anyways, have you attempted to get a timed diagonal shot to push it around a corner? I'm rambling on a YouTube comment...side note: EXPLOSIANS!!! :D
