Hi Tom, what a great sound you get from this organ - is it a Compton? So few organs played these days - I too am organist, favourite organs are Wurlitzers and Hammonds. Fantastic talent.
some people play it too fast. not you but it is a marching song. some small schools such as mine still march to this on graduation. i forget also and play fast cuz it's a nice song
I made that so Long ago I forget, I'd have to watch it on the big tv to tell for sure. I can tell that the choir div has the 8 Diapason, 8' Unda Maris, 8' dolce on, Choir 16' and choir 4' couplers on. The Great is 8 Diap, 8' Gamba, 4' Octave. The couplers I can't see from here. The Swell I definately can't tell but the 8' oboe and 8' gedeckt are on, and im sure the 8' swell open diapason.
Most of the music is missing??

Never heard these harmonies before, it doesn't have the same effect as the correct ones :-) best to listen to the BBC Last Night Of The Proms.
Still nice to see someone with enthusiasm.

Excellent performance, next time can we hear the whole of the piece from start to finish.
A1mikesmusic 3 years ago 4
@A1mikesmusic Disagree ! He's not playing Elgar's harmonies and this performance sounds very dull and regimented.

what are the stops that you used?
