@Juinor I love using created characters into the Oda Clan but if I do that then Kazumasu Takigawa my favorite samurai will keep on joining Tsutsui Clan

@magma3000 dude, you should put all of your create character in one whole base. duh! why put it into other base, and on the character's base tap, you can switch it place to any city that you want him or her to be in the beginning. So first you created like 6 good cheater high powerful character than put it into one base. easy as pie and rape other clan ass.

I mostly choose the Oda Clan because I think muskets are the strongest types in that game when there's no created characters involved.

@magma3000 The strongest and easy one is probably the footsoldiers.3 reasons.1. They don't required guns, or horseman. 2. their attack/defense is high for offense and defense. Just have a least a character with high VAL and INT. I have one group with 3 character with strong VAL and INT and make one of them have heal&rally. 3 reasons, as you level footsoldier up, they will be hard to take down even gun can't penetrate them easily. For muskets, they have ranged and attack power, but r weak.

@magma3000 weak because they sometime lack speed and you have to make a lot of gun for the army. In the beginning, it would be best to focus it more on your"spearsoldier academic" and "Civil academic". In the beginning, gold is the most important things, but later on in the late game, you don't really need it. Spear soldier are best for taking down castle and distracting other army while you prepare for other things. Politic character will be only important in the beginning, later on you

Meh, I prefer Tenka Sousei (Rise to Power) myself. It's way better balanced, diplomacy has its importance, and it doesn't have the unstoppable Takeda juggernaut like in Iron Triangle.

Plus, the Oda AI never expands in Iron Triangle, it's opposition is way too strong and it ends up being eaten by the Takeda when they arrive.

@magma3000 Nobunaga's ambition lol, no point in playing history imo (too boring)! The ultimate way is to let ichijyo clan lead by the legendary hero ichijyo kanesada (一条兼定, most of his datas are single digit) to unify...

@magma3000 actually you'd probably have more luck with rise to power (since that game has many scripted events based off history and lets you turn off the legend based events.)
