Hey enkore.. I live just outside Glasgow and think its great you were able to visit...you should explore the highlands next time.. in inverness...maybe u will see the lochness monster..lol. but the scenery is beautiful there..hopefully when you come back..our weather is a little warmer..lol. take care..x

im so glad you liked scotland yeh winter here is pretty cold (well not just winter haha) . for shopping glasgow is best but the highlands and edinburgh are best for scenery. you cant beat glasgow

I bought the same UD set from House of Fraser in london for £9 at NewYear. Im from Manchester, England, So i thought that was quite cheap.

America is alot cheaper that the UK im going this year but the exchange rate is really bad for us, so its not really saving alot

I live in Prestwick which is the town next to Troon! I was at Scotts restraunt on Hogmanay (New years eve) for dinner!!

I'm glad you enjoyed, and your right it is soooo cold, but in the summer please don't expect it to get hot :) It is still only about 25degrees (which is hot for us Scottish people!!)

oh wow! I drove by Pretswick and Kilmornock, both close to Troon -- Scotts for Hogmanay dinner, wow! We were so close! I was picking up seaglass at the sea shore not far from it. We were so close!

Yeah I am in Troon all the time as it is so close to Prestwick :) It is lovely being by the beach in the summer though (not that it is golden sands, but it is nice) so you should enjoy it if you come back!!

Thats cool that you have family there, its such a small town, i got overly excited when you said Troon!

But yeah Scotts was lovely for dinner at hogmanay, lovely cocktails :) hehe!
