  • "Hommosexual marriage taught in school" What the fuck is that supposed to mean?

  • The most absurd bull shit ever posted on youtube!

  • Not to effend anyone, but just let the damn gays have there rights it's not my life why the heck should I care

  • COME ON MY PAGE & VOTE NO ON HOMO!

  • Question 1...gays are done! We Won! Back in the closet!

  • "Professor"miller

What are you going to hdo when question 1 gets overturned?

Stop spreading the straight myth agenda

  • Marriage should be for EVERYONE... How can a system inwhich the gay community has to live by the same laws and pay the same taxes they be granted different rights???? ITS NOT RIGHT AND WILL CHANGE

  • Churches should be taxed...my cousin worked for one of those phony evangelical megachurches and they make so much money. Non-profit my ass.

  • And finally, last comment: Me and some of my friends paid for a billboard on a major highway here in Cali showing two men kissing with the words "Kids, it's okay to be gay!" Anyone else who wants to jump on this bandwagon, send me an email and I'll let you know how we did it. We'll be putting up a couple more over the next few weeks. They don't want this taught in schools? No problem, you got what you want. But you can't stop my FREEDOM OF SPEECH! Haha!

  • Kudos.

    That's amazing

  • Also, no matter how hard they try to ban same-sex marriage, there's always a way around it. They banned it here in California so me and my HUSBAND went to get a domestic partnership here in Cali, giving us the exact same legal rights, then filed for a marriage license in Vermont and filed that with California. Now, the way the law reads, although California see's marriage between a man and a woman, they are FORCED to accept our Vermont marriage. Vermont marriage + domestic partnership = MARRIAGE

  • So, while the homophobes were wasting millions of dollars trying to ban gay marriage, us intelligent ones were finding the loopholes. Best part about it: The law that states that California must accept and uphold an out of state same sex marriage CANNOT be overturned through vote. Gay marriage in California solved!

  • They bitch about this being taught in schools and the dumb ass voters fall for it every time. Kids learn more about gay marriage from these TV ads than they would EVER learn in school. And who cares anyway? If they're going to be gay, they're going to be gay. Learning about it in school isn't going to turn a kid gay you dumb bigots, lol! I think all of us gays should start sitting out in front of schools making out with our partners until they allow gay marriage. That should get their attention!

  • what the fuck is with the scary music???

  • Having a vote on this is nuts to me. I can care less about the gay/straight thing. What troubles me is the willingness to NOT promote monogamy!

Everyone needs to swallow their pride and look at the facts. STDS are out of control. Why in the world would the promotion of monogamy EVER be questioned?

Gay people will NEVER go away. even killing them all today. (scary thing is that some people believe that to be a solution) 20 years from now, the world would be populated with a whole new batch.

  • Ya, the funny thing is, these people think that us gay people create other gay people so killing the gays is the answer. Wake up call people, it is IMPOSSIBLE for us gays to create other gays, you STRAIGHT PEOPLE create all of us! LOL!

  • I disagree with Homosexuality, but ive never wanted to kill any of them.

  • @Batugal i absolutely agree with you!! i'm against it as well but i think it's wrong for people to kill, hurt or m ake fun of them, their still human, i have a gay siblings and friends, i do not agree to their lifestyle but i still love them. But that's my opinion.

  • The opposite happened with miscegenation.

17 states actively supported it - not just 5 - and it STILL was overturned!

History is not on your side. Have you looked into emigrating to Nepal?

  • Nope, don't need to move to Nepal. I'm already LEGALLY married in California, and Prop 8 didn't touch MY marriage! LOL! All I'm fighting for is Federal rights. We already have our state's rights...

  • We did look into moving to Canada during the terrible Bush years. We like the political climate there. They just make more sense. People are treated better, and there aren't such insecure breeder a-holes like cheeseisreallyhot. Seriously, it's really different there. And, MUCH better in a lot of ways. Besides, I miss the snow...

  • As I previously explained it is highly unlikely the USSC would buck the trend of states not recognising homosexual marriage constitutionally

    So far 31 to 0

The equal rights and 14th Amendment arguments have been tried before and failed

  • polls have been highly inaccurate in predicting the results of homosexual marriage ballots.

Anyway once the new Gov takes office homosexual marriage in NJ will be a fading dream

  • Fading dream. I think NOT! I've said all along that this will NOT be decided at the ballot box. Gay advocates are merely trying to get as many states on board as possible, so that when we reach the ultimate test (the Supreme Court of the US) then we will have more weight behind us. You cannot have some states allowing it, and other states banning it. It's called "inequality" and inequality loses every time. Sorry to disappoint you... And, what you guys should focus on is the young vote

  • This same inequality, which existed in Canada, is what lead the Canadian Supreme Court to decide that if some provinces allowed gay marriage, then it was only fair that they ALL did... History is NOT on your side, I'm afraid... This is a civil rights issue for the 21st Century, and will NOT go away. Argentina just announced that their legislature is taking up gay marriage. Nepal recently legalized it, as did South Africa...

  • Chicka chicka Idc,

YOU STILL LOST IN 31 states

  • I'm still legally married in NINE states. It was only TWO states a year ago. Still think we're losing, huh? And, when are you going to address your insecurity "issues....?" You'd better start working on those 43 percent of straights that voted FOR marriage. And, the ME college town where 81 percent voted FOR gay marriage...

  • I dont really care tbh, I just fuck with people though youtube when I bored......Chicka Chicka

  • Good! It really didn't look good the way you were bullying gay people. It's NEVER OK to bully people. I hope you'll support gay marriage you are old enough, and mature enough to vote. I hope it comes soon...! Good luck!

  • Gay marriage as zero effect on my life, So it's not my place to say yes or no.

  • GREAT, so now you understand why you shouldn't be voting on it, right? It doesn't affect you, so why should have a say in my marriage? Take it out of the voting booth and into the legislatures and courts. Glad we agree on that...

  • By the way, do you really live in the Turks and Caicos? You couldn't pay me enough money to live on an island again. I lived in the Caribbean for a year (St. Thomas) and it was the worst year of my life. I'll NEVER repeat that mistake again. It was a hellhole. Nice to visit for a week, but TERRIBLE to live there.

  • @lisztnut Why was it terrible to live there? Too small and boring?

  • Yes, living on an island is HELL, especially since I moved there from New York City. It's like being cast away into no-man's land. The native islanders don't want you there, so they treat you like dirt (you're a "continental"), and there is little or no culture. I used to go to the cruise ship docks just to have contact with real human beings... Trust me, don't EVER live on an island, unless it's your second property and you only spend a few days at a time...

  • Oh, by the way, it's not just the fact that I was white living among the West Indians, they don't like blacks who are from the "states," or even people from different islands. It's a provincial, isolationist mentality that does NOT accept outsiders.

  • Can someone please tell me how GAINING my rights in NINE states in ONE year is a loss for gay marriage? I'm not following your logic... But, then again I never did pay attention to bullies. I always knew I was better than them, and guess what? My life DID turn out better.... LOL!

  • Almost forgot, I gained my rights in NINE states PLUS Washington, DC....

  • Chicka Chicka, 50 states and you get Nine

WOHOO! THAT's like a consolation prize! thats my logic......... so have fun with that the other 41 states

  • No, I'll have more fun when we get ALL the states. And, that prize is obtainable within the next five years due to the Federal case against Prop 8. Will you be gloating when ALL 50 states have gay marriage? You know what caused it? The people's vote on Prop 8! Prop 8 was a tremendous GIFT to the gay marriage movement. Thank you fellow CA voters! THANK YOU!

  • I might add that those nine states are the only places we'd consider living anyway. You can keep Texas, you can keep the Midwest, you can keep the South. We wouldn't consider living there anyway. The only places I'd live are CA, and the East Coast.

  • Cheeseisreallyhot said this:

Chicka Chicka, 50 states and you get Nine

My response, you act like we're playing marbles here. Your playground bully attitude does not bode well for heterosexuals right now. I've said many times over and over that this is about who can out vote whom. It's a GIVEN that the 90 percent heterosexual population can out vote the 5-10 percent gay population. You should be worrying about the increasing number of young people and straights that are voting FOR us.

  • By 1967, when the U.S. Supreme Court once and for all declared prohibitions against intermarriage unconstitutional in Loving v. Virginia, only seventeen states upheld anti-miscegenation statutes.

Contrast that with the trend toward banning homosexual marriage, as demonstrated by 31 states amending their Constitutions in the last few years.

It's highly unlikely the USSC would want to buck that trend.

And unlike race, homosexuality is NOT considered an 'immutable characteristic'.

  • Interesting you mentioned that, because the team out to defeat Prop 8 is bent on proving that it IS an immutable characteristic. We'll see where that goes...

  • Also, I hate to disappoint you, but I just read this about polls (we know they're often wrong, but....)

By a 49 - 43 percent margin, New Jersey voters support a law that would allow same-sex couples to marry, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. And voters support 63 - 30 percent the existing law establishing civil unions for same-sex couples.

So, if it were put to a vote in NJ, it looks like you'd lose... Sorry!

  • paolo-I have friends who would like to marry several girls, are you concerned that they are suffering discrimination too?

  • Oh, regarding polygamy, I personally have no problem with it. It was once legal in the US, did you know that? So, why did we "redefine" marriage as being one man and one woman back then? Polygamy is also legal TODAY in South Africa, as is gay marriage there.

  • The newly elected Governor of New Jersey, Republican Chris Christie, has pledged to veto any bill that would allow homosexual marriage

  • That's why there's a push to get it through the legislature quickly, because the outgoing governor, Corzine, has pledged to sign the bill. If it's done before he leaves office, it becomes law.

  • @lisztnut

Given Corzine's close links with Obama I don't think he will want to leave behind a ticking time bomb.

If he does then the people of NJ will have to reverse it via ballot

  • I don't know about New Jersey law, but some states, like Iowa, cannot so easily override the legislature or courts as they did in CA and ME. It is clear that some states need to relook at their laws, because it's far too easy to amend the constitution in CA (we've done it over 500 times), and the bare majority that overturned it in ME is also suspect. So, I'll read up on NJ and get back to you. If Corzine left the legacy of gay marriage he would finally leave office doing something good.

  • You know where this is all leading? It's my belief that the US Supreme Court will finally decide this issue, and it's probably not going in your favor. 70 percent of voters were against interracial marriage when they overturned the bans on it. Far fewer Americans oppose gay marriage now than opposed interracial marriage then. So, it's a no brainer that this will probably go our way once the Prop 8 case reaches their desks. And, the elimination of DOMA is already being discussed in Congress.

  • The abnormal twisted desires of a few individuals should never outweigh the right for others to live in a society free from their perversion.

  • Just when you thought gay marriage had gotten a setback, it's BACK! New York and New Jersey's legislatures are moving towards gay marriage bills as we speak. If you live in those states, call your representatives and tell them that you support the bills...!

  • Gods bless America!!!!

btw.... does anyone know if this passed?

  • What I'm getting at is, you clearly have some "insecurity" issues pertaining to your sexuality. I would get that taken care of, like NOW! I want to remind you that I'm still legally married, and your ridiculous "people's mandate" didn't touch my life. If you haven't noticed, there is movement in congress to eliminate DOMA. Do you know that that means, peabrain? That means that my big gay marriage will be EQUAL to yours and that all of your voting had NO effect on MY marriage.

  • actually we voted yes on 8.... not no..... and i dont have any insecurity with my sexuality.... I only like pussy. And I have nothing against gay people..... hell I have many gay friends and I even slept with a lesbian once (shit shows you how gay she was).... When it comes to marriage I have different thoughts and prespectives.

  • Oh, the old "I have gay friend so I`m not a bigot" excuse. It never gets old. Did you then tell your gay friends that you support a law that doesn`t affect you but is discriminating towards them?

  • Put bigotry on the ballot, and it will win every time. Few things are harder for people to resist than an opportunity to deprive others of what they themselves are free to take for granted.

If racial integration and women's suffrage had been left up to "the people" in previous decades, we'd still have "restricted" neighborhoods, "colored only" drinking fountains, and a nonvoting female population.

  • aww lisznut needs to get a life....your gay marriage is failing 0-31

  • I guess you aren't aware that NINE states currently recognize my CA gay marriage license, and this is growing. Just one year ago there were only two states, now NINE and counting! So, who's losing ground here? It's not us... Anyway, the bans will get shot down in one Supreme Court decision, and BINGO, we've got nationalized gay marriage. It's exactly what happened in Canada... Every year new countries come on board with gay marriage. Better get with the program...

  • Can I ask you something? Why does it give you such pleasure to treat others with such hatred? I have only one conclusion as to why you need to bully. That is, that you were probably either bullied as a child, or a bully yourself. Who THE FUCK cares what 90 percent of the people to do 5 percent at the ballot box? Does this prove anything? You don't think if gays were 90 percent of the population we wouldn't vote against YOUR rights? The point is your need for validation needs to be addressed

  • So, in conclusion, get HELP for those issues you clearly have. You clearly need to address your insecurity surrounding your sexuality, and the fact that homosexuals are a problem for you. GET HELP!

  • and has anyone ever told you you talk too much?

  • What you should really be paranoid about is the fact that in California and Maine upwards of 43 percent of STRAIGHTS voted FOR gay marriage. It means our message is getting across to some people at least. If those numbers were to increase, coupled with the gay vote, you'd LOSE.

  • If I were an insecure straight person, I'd be mighty worried about these stats. It bodes VERY well for the future of gay marriage:

University of Maine-Orono campus- 81 percent for gay marriage, 19 against. In the town of Orono, 73 for SSM, 27 against.

Kennebunkport, home of the Bushes, 61 percnt FOR gay marriage, 39 against

Bangor, we won 54-46 We won Lewiston-Auburn (HEAVILY Catholic) 58-42 We won Portland 73-27 percent

  • @lisztnut NO NO NO you are being very very FOOOLISH right now this is how prop 8 started, the stats were in the favor of gay marriage and look what happened...

  • Yes, you are right, gay marriage would have won in California and Maine if it hadn't been for the LIES about teaching in schools. This was all made up by those against gay marriage. Gay people could care less about what is taught in schools, and you know it, too. It was playing on the fears of the homophobic Christian right, and it worked. Now, it will be interesting to see if the Maine legislature drafts gay marriage laws again, and says that GAY MARRIAGE WILL NOT BE TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS!

  • When sodomy was made legal scare tacts were used to say there would be a flood of lawsuits and preachers would be thrown in jail. DIDN'T HAPPEN. This is fear mongering. Gay peo-le have no interest in suing churchs. Snyone against gay marriage is EVIL and un-American.

  • I am extremely happy that my state didn't pass gay marriage....It shows we still have some morals.

  • Morals?

It shows we don't believe in individual freedoms. Two consenting adults have the right to do whatever they choose.

Allowing them adopt children etc...is another story because it affects others. But I believe in individual rights and freedoms in this country even if I personally don't approve of others lifestyle.

  • chicka chicka Win for the A team =)

  • Gay marriage is a far bigger issue than just what happens in Maine, California, or even the USA. This is a worldwide phenomenon, and cannot be stopped at this point. It might slow down, but it won't stop. Every year we see a net gain in the number of countries that support gay marriage. My gay marriage is now recognized in NINE states, whereas a year ago it was only two or three. This we're losing ground huh? I have NEWS for you! LOL!

Google: Argentina, Nepal, South Africa gay marriage

  • @lisztnut sorry to break it to you but the yes on 1 people are going to use the same material for the yes on 8. and sadly i must predict that it will probably work in the same favor. people are just like this i suppose. i like to think that people are good deep down, but there are also other factors affecting these things as well, for instance, the people that (hopefully are just trolling) come on these videos and comment FAGGOT YOU FAGGOTS FUCKING FAGGOTS. well there are alot more jus like dem

  • Chicka chicka your stupid, it's been voted down in 31 states, WIN FOR THE A TEAM =)

  • @cheeseisreallyhot wat? thats what i said, i said that its going to be passed... so... yeah have a nice day

  • What's with the scary music? So we're already limiting who can get married in our free country, do we also have to "demonize" the those who support the institution of gay marriage with scare tactics?

Plus, this ad was debunked; lots of factual errors.

  • marriage is a religious function. not a public one so, marriage violates the constitutional clause regarding the separation of church and state. society does not benefit any one except the married people who want the tax break. so I think ALL marriage should be banned unless it is done in a religious context and then we do away with all rights of married people. this is stupid and religions should be banned from political speech.

  • Gay, straight, black, white: marriage is a civil right!

If you don't like gay marriage, don't get one.

  • If you don't like slavery don't get a slave....uh I don't think your argument works....by the way repeating some screeching mantra won't get you marriage rights...God created man and woman not man and man or woman and woman there would be no children if he did ie it would have been useless to make humans...

  • proliferanter - Ugh! It's so tiring when you god warriors say the same thing ."god created man and woman not......"

ENOUGH already. Not everyone believes in creation, got it? Also, gay people have kids! Why don't you freaks understand that? Do you think that gay people dont want a family?! What the hell dude. There is no argument against gay marriage that works. Marriage is a contract..A CIVIL CONTRACT! Fight about something you know about.

  • "If you don't like slavery don't get a slave"

So you're saying PeaceLoveRugby6's argument doesn't work because keeping slaves, oppressing the freedoms of a particular group of men and women, is wrong? and you can't just opt not to have a slave while others around you do because... that's still wrong?

  • now, i don't know how it's possible that you haven't yet, but consider the parallels between withholding freedoms from black slaves pre-Civil War era, and withholding freedoms from gays today.

And guess who slaveholders turned to for justification on why they should be allowed to keep their slaves? Why, good old God!

  • Possible future for gay marriage in ME: ME Supreme Court orders gay marriage (this referendum was NOT a constitutional ban, leaving the door open)

Public schools institute diversity training regarding same sex couples (as happened in CA after Prop 8), therefore realizing the greatest fears of the Yes on 1 crowd. Kids learning about gay people-HORRORS!

Governor orders gay marriages performed in other states to be recognized (like in NY and DC)

It goes back to legislature for another vote.

  • This advertisement disgusts me.

  • Defeated,0-31(including maine) goodfight all.

  • 0-31 nationwide. Even in liberal Maine, the people know what a disgrace gay marraige is.

  • moose-Maine never did support homosexual marriage.

Their legislature was out of touch with the voters who put them there

  • Thanks for taking away the few states we did have to support us. I suppose the next step would be to get rid of gay marriage altogether. What's next, getting rid of gays?

  • Whosemoose, well garysher3 (as YesOn8won) stated on the funnyordie website that he supported sending homosexuals to concentration camps. Here's the exact discussion:

gobo (a funnyordie member) said: "I'm still waiting for [garysher3] to deny supporting concentration camps for homosexuals.

garysher3 responded with: "You'll have a long wait."

    Proof:

google gobo concentration camps "have a long wait"

  • liszt-anyone else you want to add to your hate list after old people and Catholics?

Ever think maybe you are wrong and those 31 states are right??

  • How is pointing out that Catholics are in favor of inclusivity "anti-Catholic"? It isn't. It's the opposite.

    "ever think...those...are right?"

Nah. They aren't. Why entertain a ridiculous idea?

  • Another gay bashing. This time in Maine. The 90 percent majority once again tramples on the rights of the 5-10 percent minority. Anyone surprised by this? Let's hope that Jesus calls home to glory those over 65, ASAP. They are responsible for Referendum 1 passing. Big Catholic support for gay marriage. Thank you for defying your church leaders on this! Silver lining: unlike Prop 8, this is NOT a Constitutional ban. It can go to the high courts, or back to the legislature again.

  • This ad makes me want to vomit. None of this makes any sense. Love is love. It's not polluting anything.

  • You blew it Maine, you had the opportunity to pave the way to a better America. I just can't believe people are still so cruel. Thank-you everyone who voted NO.

  • Maine also rejects the idea of marriages based on the perversion of the individuals, thats 31 states so far, and the trend is 100% of the states rejecting this filthy perversion.

  • Go back to trolling, Craighill9.

    And see a dentist. Goddamn!

  • You're right!! Enough said.

  • my experience is that those who panic over "filthy perversion" are struggling with some issues they keep hidden way down deep.

  • What "filthy perversion" are you refering to?

  • the one youre obviously struggling with. Time to come out.

  • Come onsay it you know you can say it now which perversion are you refering to? Do you mean the perversion of homosexuality? Is that the one? Say it homosexuality is a perversion. You can say it. Go ahead and say it.

  • craighill: Ok, we ALL know that you think homosexuality is a perversion. No one cares! LOL.

This has nothing to do with marriage. Get over it. Why don't you obsess over something other than Gay sex...pervert

  • HOMOSEXUALITY IS A PERVERSION...I'm not afraid to say it! I'm just as "bigoted" as Moses, the New Testament writers and of course don't forget God and his Son Jesus Christ!! Sodomites go to hell....sorry it's a fact.

  • Comment removed

  • While I agree with you that homosexuality is wrong and same-sex marriages should not be allowed, I don't think it is up to us to decide who goes to hell or not. I'd rather leave that up to god.

  • exactly. People who are constantly complaning about gay people are the sqeaky wheels who want to get greased.

  • I am sorry but the words "gay" and "marriage" do not belong together.

  • Same-sex marriage is the correct term.

  • Well, you use your term, and I will use mine. Actually I usally use a different term but I am being polite here.

  • ..You're being stupid and not the least bit polite.

  • AMEN!!!

  • well I respect your right to think so, but seriously mind your own fucking buisness. You dont like it don't concern yourself with it

  • When the state legislature passes a law, it becomes EVERYBODY'S business. If you folks just stayed in your nightclubs and bath houses and left the rest of society alone this wouldn't be an issue. You also wouldn't have had to put up with 31 states rejecting this issue.

  • CookCounty said: "If you folks just stayed in your nightclubs and bath houses and left the rest of society alone this wouldn't be an issue."

This is a blatant lie in order to discredit the gay couples that do not partake in promiscuous activities. Some couples together in monogamous relationships for over 30 years.

    Stop lying.

The GLBT don't lie about YOUR relationships.

  • Need I remind you that gay marriage has NO impact on YOUR life? NONE, ZERO, NADA. I'm legally gay married in California. Do you think my neighbors notice, or care? Of what concern is this in YOUR life? Mind your own boring life, how about that? It's clear that anyone as vocal as you are about it has a problem. Youtube vid: Middlesexes experiment on homophobia. And, one more thing. Mind your own f----cking business. How about that? When can I vote onYOUR marriage?

  • Liztnut says:Mind your own f----cking business. How about that? When can I vote onYOUR marriage?

As I said, when the state legislature passes a law it becomes everybody's business. As for voting on my marriage, I say that is a good idea. Next election in all 50 states lets have 2 ballot issues. One to approve hetro marriages and the second one to approve gay marriage. I bet that my side will win 50 and your side will lose 50.

  • You're more dense than I thought. The reason civil rights issues should never be up for a vote is that the majority almost ALWAYS loses (except in Washington state where we won BIG yesterday, if you haven't noticed). Is it just me, or are straight peopel the most insecure people on the planet? My gay marriage is NO threat to you, get over it... So what that you can come up with 50 percent of the vote. Why did 43 percent of straights vote FOR gay marriage in Maine yesterday?

  • Oops, meant the minority almost always loses... Why are straights such bullies? Can someone tell me that? Who cares if you can out vote us. Duh... You're 90 percent of the population....

  • because it's totally the governments right to control your personal life, and absolutely have to to stop people you don't even know from marrying. What happened to equal rights for all

  • cookcounty - Gay marriage is legal in the US and other countries...That won't change. The definition of gay marriage includes same sex couples..Look it up! Get over it! Worry about something that will affect you! Grow up! Educate yourself! Have fun!

  • Look out for gangs of marauding homosexuals rampaging around the streets of Maine looking for old ladies to beat up

  • MAINE REJECTS HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGE

We The People 31 Homosexuals 0

Are you homosexuals getting the message?

  • Comment removed

  • Words of wisdom from Jesse Ventura on CNN tonight regarding Maine's referendum: This shows that we still do not have separation of church and state. You cannot put up civil rights to a vote, otherwise the minority loses. We'd still have slavery if it were up for a vote. Issues like this should be decided by our elected officials and courts, not the people's vote. They are the only ones who have the courage to do the right thing, and protect the minority...

  • Comment removed

  • leftbehind81 is being purposely facetious. This person actually supports gay marriage. I saw their posts on another thread... Just thought I'd let you know....

  • I live in Massachusetts, which has marriage equality. I've been going to school there for the 5 years its been in place and honestly i have never heard the topic of gay marriage discussed by any teacher in school, for or against it. I highly doubt Maine will be any different.

  • Thanks emusic255. That's why fear tactics should never be used in advertising.

  • It's seems like Maine has voted to remain in the dark ages with the rest of America. Congratulations on living in the "land of the enlightened!" Massachusetts gives us ALL hope for a better future. You are a shining beacon of civility surrounded by a sea of ignorance...!

  • So if it's not a homosexual sex line why won't you give us the number so we can prove you right?

  • It's in this video.

    /watch?v=mvhxZmdsUYk

You can make a video response with your phone call as proof.

    Thanks!

  • commercial-what is your parents phone number?

  • It's not a gay sex line, garysher3, yet you claim it is for some psychologically-disturbed reason.

  • In other words those 'studies' are hopelessly unscientific and don't even begin to reverse centuries of human knowledge and wisdom.

Except for people like you who are determined to live life inside a cocoon of delusion and pretence

  • "Except for people like you who are determined to live life inside a cocoon of delusion and pretence"

Said garysher3, the 'christian' who resorts to calling my parents' phone number a gay sex line.

Yeah, let's all believe garysher3's Mr.Hyde side, because you know it's just a matter of time before Dr. Jekyll arrives and starts making up lies in order to slander your character, lisztnut.

Give it time, you'll see exactly how garysher3 works.

    Proof:

    /watch?v=mvhxZmdsUYk

  • Speaking of a cocoon of delusion, do you REALLY believe that god "created" the world 6000 years ago? Really, you believe that claptrap that has been PROVEN beyond doubt to be false? REALLY, you believe it? Seriously?

  • lisztnut-I can 'give' you millenia of human wisdom and the wonder of God's design to support the fact that children deserve both a mummy and a daddy.

If you ever read any of those APA 'studies' you will find they use tiny samples, sometimes as few as 17 couples.

The process was to mail out a questionnaire and ask a homosexual couple to answer questions about their own parenting skills and how well balanced their children were.

Needless to say they gave themselves high marks!

  • Got news for you, god didn't "design" anything. God was created by man. People with YOUR political/.religious bent love to demonize gay people without any actual PROOF that we make less good parents. Tell a black children, 70 percent of whom barely know their father, that the marriage of their parents is necessary for their well being, and see the reponse you get. It takes far more than sperm donation to be a good father. This has been proven. Good parenting is a DIFFERENT issue

  • lol @ "teaching" gay marriage. How does one even teach straight marriage? Can these morons just give up and accept equality already?

  • It's just funny to me how there's a lot of gay people who use youtube to make it seem like their the major where most people who have lives don't really need to use this medium much at all. Youtube sucks and is becoming outdated.

  • Question for everyone: What are your thoughts on Polygamy? If a Mormon wants to marry 4 or 14 women and the women agree, should they be allowed to? I haven't heard this aspect discussed before...

  • I personally have no problem with polygamy, UNLESS it involves underaged girls who are forced into it as they were in the FLDS cult. Polygamy is legal in South Africa, so if you want to research this, there is a model for you. Gay marriage is also legal in South Africa, and many Amercians don't know this. Did you know Nepal has gay marriage, too?

  • "What are your thoughts on Polygamy?"

Polygamy is not for me. I'm monogamous to one person, and one person is enough happiness in my life.

I don't imagine many polygamous relationships are even close to being successful on a long-term basis because when you get that many women attached to one man, there's bound to be a mass amount of jealousy going on.

So sure, let them. They have to deal with their own problems, including MAJOR legal battles if they divorce. Maybe that's why it's not legal?

  • VOTE NO, MAINE !

Please Stop discrimination, and share equality with thousands of couples that DESERVE the same benefits that any married couples get.

Gay marriage harms nobody and bonds families together. I should know, I'm gay and married to my husband and both our families rejoice in the love we share !!!

  • It's so nice to see a low-rating for this video. :-)

It's even nicer for me to vote it 1 star.

  • homosexuality is about as natural as chewing with your ears

  • "homosexuality is about as natural as chewing with your ears"

    So is being left-handed.

    Next !!!

  • That's right, homosexuality IS natural. 450 species of animals mate with same sex partners for life. Are animals part of nature? Then homosexuality is a natural as the sky. It's religion that's unnatural and man-made. Man created god, not vice versa...

  • "450 species of animals mate with same sex partners for life." How do those species not die out? Are their numbers getting smaller? Can you confirm or discuss... thnx.

  • Thanks for your enlightened question! I guess you haven't heard of the "population explosion?" Some researchers into homosexuality in the animal kingdom say that homosexuality actually protects these species from "overpopulating." It is a natural way for the species to control their numbers. But, of course, this is difficult to confirm. How do we know what mother nature thinks? There is a youtube video about this: Homosexuality in the animal kingdom It's produced by National Geographic

  • "How do those species not die out?"

The same reason why humans aren't dying out.

The majority of the species are procreating....take humans for example; we will eventually overpopulate the World if there are no major events that wipe us out.

Homosexuality is in no way a threat to any species.

  • We will save the planet! Gay couples often take up the slack for failed heterosexual relationships. We are there to adopt the children of these failed relationships. I'd like to point out that lesbians don't have abortions (unless rape is involved), and that gay people don't abandon their children. Every child in a gay family is planned and wanted. There are no accidents. Gays will save the planet!

  • liszt-many untruths in your comment:

-heterosexual couples adopt too and are infinitely better for the child

-homosexual couples sometimes have children from previous relationships before they decided to switch to homosexuality, they are not always planned or wanted

-the first homo couple to marry in MA divorced within one year and their poor child was bounced around between two lesbos

  • I can give you 67 scientific studies, NOT opinions, that show that homosexuals are equal to or BETTER than straight couples at raising children. Can you provide ONE that says otherwise? Nobody "switches" to homosexuality. We are born one way or the other. It's a process of "discovery." Do you remember when you chose to be heterosexual? For every bad homosexual parent story, I can name hundreds of failed heterosexual stories. The battered women's shelters are full of stories!

  • VOTE YES ON 1

IT's a sin to tell impressionable young children that it's ok to be gay.

It's immoral and a wretched lifestyle to follow. We don't want our children having homosexual immorality shoved down their throats in school either.

Marriage must be protected from violation by those who choose to lead a homosexual lifestyle

  • Vote No one 1

Imagine being a young child or young adult and all you hear about is how "being" gay is wrong when there is NOTHING you can do about it. You are hurting children all across the world if you don't allow people to live and let live. Live your life, life is to short to waste time judging other peoples lifestyles. One day you may have a homosexual child, you WILL lose them if you do not accept them for who they are. Please see the true meaning of life and love one another

  • Gay marriage is wrong in my opinion, if you disagree FUCK OFF

  • Your opinion is stupid.

  • Your lifestyle is unnatural.

  • Duh, my lifestyle is unnatural.

I drive a car, I live in a two-story house, I wear manufactured cotton and denim clothes, and I use a computer every day of the week.

Here's a surprise for you: YOU'RE UNNATURAL TOO, DUMBASS!

Maybe when you get off your ass, strip naked, and go live in the Brazilian Rain forest for the rest of your pathetic life, then we can take your advice on being the ideal state of existence.

I'm sorry for calling you stupid, cheeseisreallyhot.

    You're a complete dumbmass.

  • cool. you still haven't changed my views at all, but cool.

  • My goal isn't to change your views, just prove you wrong.

People like you aren't going to change their perspective until you're in our shoes.

    Which will never happen.

  • You can't prove an opinion wrong. I could say I don't like apples, and there's no way for you to prove me wrong.

Also I'm 100% sure I'm never going to be in your "Shoes", seeing as I find assholes disgusting, and I could never see the pleasure of something being shoved up it. Also I have never felt any kind of affection for another man past friendship.

But don't get me wrong, I just disagree with your life style. I don't have anything against you as a person. I have friends who are bisexual.

  • Who said anything about proving your opinion wrong? That'd be impossible. My baiting usually gets people to tell me WHY they're in opposition.

My lifestyle is no more unnatural than yours; in fact, it isn't unnatural at all. ...And I said it'll never happen. No need to repeat me.

You can disagree all you want, that's fine, but don't pretend to use words when you don't know what they mean.

I'm sure your bisexual friends will respect that.

  • "Also I'm 100% sure I'm never going to be in your "Shoes", seeing as I find assholes disgusting..."

Then you could consider being in my shoes..as I'm a homosexual and my husband and I don't partake in anal sex.

My "lifestyle" is exactly the same as anyone else's. I work. I come home. I do chores. I pay taxes. I make food. I go to sleep [repeat until retirement]

You are ignorant. There are millions of couples that don't fit your negative stereotype - which is why it's not illegal to be gay.

  • Your calling me ignorant, read past that "I find assholes disgusting part", and look at the one right below it,

"I never felt any kind of affection for another man past friendship"

So no, I could never be in your "shoes" either. I also don't have the willpower to live without sex.

And your right, so I'll substitute the word "lifestyle" with the word "sexuality"

It's also not illegal to be against Homosexuality.

  • "It's also not illegal to be against Homosexuality. "

No, but you're making blunt generalizations, which makes you just as unintelligent as other people who use generalizations to describe people you don't know or understand.

So what, I've never felt any affection for another woman...and there's NOTHING wrong with that either.

That's my point. There's nothing harmful about homosexuality.

There IS something harmful about promoting ignorance, which you do when you assume gay = anal sex.

  • I said homosexuality is unnatural.

Is it really that absurd to assume that when 2 people get married they're going to have sex?

Have you ever considered your relationship just an abnormality, and that maybe most other gay couples engage in anal sex?

I agree with you however that sex isn't love, and you don't have to be having sex to be in love. I never assumed that ALL gay couples have anal sex, of course they're are going to be some that don't. The same can be said for straight couples to.

  • "Have you ever considered your relationship just an abnormality"

Not any more than you consider your relationship to be an abnormality. For me and my attraction and feelings I have for my husband, it's perfectly natural.

Why would I do something that's not natural for me?

Why would you do something that's not natural for you?

Here's another point you have to take into consideration -- just because it's not natural for YOU doesn't mean it's not natural for someone else.

  • I'm talking Abnormal for the Gay community, cutting and pasting singular things from an entire post is taking it out of context, here is a solid fact for you:

Over 99% of married couples have sex at some point.

Your relationship is abnormal compared to the rest of married couples(gay or straight)

I didn't say unnatural, that is my personal view of homosexuality that nobody can change.

  • cheeseisreallyhot said: "I didn't say unnatural, that is my personal view of homosexuality that nobody can change."

What?!? You just said an hour ago:

    "I said homosexuality is unnatural."

    You're not making sense.

  • "I'm talking Abnormal for the Gay community, cutting and pasting singular things from an entire post is taking it out of context, here is a solid fact for you:"

Talking about 'context', you didn't say &quo
