Jacques's career ended when he crashed against R. Schumacher's car in the Australian GP in 2001. All in a sudden, he just lost that edge that made him the legit 2nd most talented driver in the pack back then.
Had he accepted this offer from Benetton at the end of year 2000, and had he never crashed into R. Schumacher's car, I'm sure he'd have gotten at least another title.

@mazey90 Some tracks just are made just perfectly for some drivers' style. Schumi was particularly good in Monaco. Villeneuve always loved Spain, and other smooth-driving tracks such as Silverstone.
@CHPatCH Actually, Schumi was good at monaco, but particularly good in Canada gp. I am looking forward to a podium finish at the Canadian GP. Msc :) :) x

I remember that race quite well. Even though he crashed out, I thought it was Villeneuve's best performance in the BAR.
