If more money was spent on eductaion that wouldn't necessarily be a benefit. Most people that graduate have jobs in fields that didn't require a college education. These are usually services jobs that market products made in China.

None of this outsourcing or offshoring of jobs would have happened if we (our government) hadn't made it legal and easy for companies to go overseas for cheap labor. The free trade agreements were EVIL and hastened the demise of this country. If we would have had protectionist tariffs and laws on the books none of this crap would have happened, and these companies would still be operating here.

If more money was spent on eductaion that wouldn't necessarily be a benefit. Most people that graduate have jobs in fields that didn't require a college education. These are usually services jobs that market products made in China.

It's not a easy task. We can get together as small communities and start from there as households pull there resources together. I don't have the answers to everything but I can at least offer a positive thought instead of saying it's just futile.

This is what happens to a nation that does not value education and turns it into a money making business. AKA: Cram as many student into a univeristy as possible and spend all your money on athletics programs and other shit. Now I know why other nations univeristies are so much different than the US system. They have basic amenities, and are thus cheap and even free tuition rates. You pay for a lot of excess shit at american universities, shit that leads to obscene debt!

Then when the capitalists can recreate Chinese labour conditions in the USA (no minimum wage, no regulations (including safety), no child labour laws, no labour unions, no benefits, no pensions, NOTHING, SQUAT, DIDDILY!) they'll say the reason you're not top slave is because you don't work hard enough.
