the movie looks like it would be good to see but the jenny dixon story is an urban legend having lived not far from jenny dixon beach all my life the beach is actually named after a ship called the Janet Dixon that sank off there whilst carrying coal in 1871
@eemilylouise everyone you talk to Emily say something different.. i just wrote a story around the urban legend and ghost reports. there is a whole back story to the movie... there will be a docco on the DVD about the reports of the ghost so that will go into the reports people have made over the last 60 years.... i hate the way film makers take a true story like this and really streatch the truth looks like a good movie & living on the coast 98 percent of my life i grew up with the story but i mean lightning coming from her hands why cant they stick to the truth and tell it like it is insted of adding B.S to it the real facts r so much more frightning then the movie in real life it's said her lost soul haunts her attackers till they commit suicide that sounds more scary then her killing them with sticks

This is not a documentary. Its feature film. it would not survive as one if all that was in the movie was a ghost hitch hiking the whole way through the film... There are no police records of 5 guys attacking a girl then all committing suicide. there are 300 plus reports of a ghost though. Cheers...

@mickization I know just having a joke but I its perfect example of how an urban legend changes and expands over the years.I use to camp at JDs ALL weekend every weekend for ages and never seen a thing (though walking up those stairs at night by yourself never stopped sending shivers up your back lol).Had a freaky experience sleeping at Lighthouse Beach but thats another story entirely.Love JD's best days of my childhood life,in fact my ashes are to be spread there one day.
