Oh what lovely hands & a nice rhythm too! I've noticed that gymnasts in those days seemed to try to make an arc in the air when doing their 'split 'leaps on beam, rather than showing a complete 180 degree split in the legs.
It was not a split leap, she was not suppose to hit a split, she did it correctly, just watch Nadia's perfect ten balance beam routine, she does it the same way. Olga has no lack of flexibility.
That thing she does at 0:40 is insane!

@cherylannemason the score was(i think ) 9.9 it wasn't a perfect 10 just becouse of the dismount.i think both nadia and olga deserved a perfect 10.

what was her score on this? pretty much flawless apart from lack of flexibility in the split leap. gorgeous korbut flic...

It was not a split leap, she was not suppose to hit a split, she did it correctly, just watch Nadia's perfect ten balance beam routine, she does it the same way. Olga has no lack of flexibility.
