I always find that no matter what my insecurities in my own dance, putting down other people makes me feel better because I know how much I suck, and if I give scathing and insulting reviews of others, it makes me look like I'm a tango god. And I am. Some people just never grow out of kindergarten, I suppose. Haters.

Wow ! i have read all your comments and you are really very hard with these people. it's evident they are working on it.what's the most important thing ? not accurate dancing i guess but enjoy what they are doing.let them keep on learning this fantastic tango. hugs from argentina

Tango is moving so quickly that the volcados shown here can be considered the old style...large sweeping movements that threaten the lower back of all but the most flexible followers. Dancers are bringing back from BA a more upright, milonguero style of volcado that looks like a variation on a subtle front ocho. It is not dramatic, but a nice, sexy step.

One can put volcada principles to so-so use, though productivity is low and ??? Few do it well enough. (E.Jorissen one.) You guys are not there; but, within the conventional, at least you tend to move in an elegant, understated, fluid way, versus the usual robot-like horrorshow. Must keep clip up, so that josepheene, FriniTango and Astartis learn something. ("Drop her center" ?? We don't talk like that in tango. Well, some "heritage" tangueros/as do. May we be spared the gibberish.)

Hi Magdalena, you know me, and we have not danced for years. This clip brought back great memories. Of course (this is tango, right?) there are zillions of ways of doing "volcadas". I would not mind to see 90-100% of them chained together and sunk to the bottom of the sea. The typical volcada is an antic, a ridiculous cliche, a stupid tic ticking every so many seconds during a tango for no reason at all.

these people have got to work a lot on their volcadas... the lady should hold her center, and not drop it while the volcada is happening.
