@TheWorldOfAction There are some similar sounding words between Russian and Ukrainian. But for the most part there is a very noticeable difference, to a native speaker anyway. Both languages use the Cyrillic alphabet so letters are pronounced almost the same way in both languages, but use different vocabulary
