  • Just look at yourself and the way you are constructed, the way you "work", and then look at all the machines, computers, and other things man has created so much alike the human being. I`d rather believe that aliens came and created humans, than to think we appeared out of a big-nothing-bang, that created stardust, or that we all come from a bacteria, and that God doesn`t exist. Let`s use out brain!

So...if you can`t proove God exists, PROOVE that He DOESN`T!!!!!!!

  • @Starlight434 I don't think you're using your brain, after all you can't even spell.

  • @Starlight434 Guide to prove that god does not exist:

    1) Kill all priests from all religions in a very painful and humiliating way.

    2) Swear at ALL gods in all religions

    3) Burn all churches, praying temples etc. of the world TO THE GROUND.

    4) Rape children between 0 and 6 years old and then kill them.

    5) Go to Africa where there is much poverty and perform a homicide.

    6) Burn all forests and kill animals.

    7) Kill, Burn and Rape some more.

    8) What on earth have you done? There is no god..

  • @Starlight434 The burden of proof is on the maker of the positive claim. Not being able to prove or disprove the existence of God is not an Atheist problem. We realize there is no reason to believe such nonsense. The evidence isn't there. Absence of evidence IS absence of evidence when the claims you would make would have left significant evidence (you know, like 29,050 feet of rainfall killing all life on earth). No evidence, no reason to believe it.

  • Apparently your "GAWWD" did not teach you how to spell.....it is "threw" out his arm. "Through" is used as in "through the looking glass" having to do with another fairy tale much like those written about in the bible. You know that piece of trash novel that the ignorant believe was written by GAWD!!!!!

  • Problem for Hitchens is, God will have final at bat in the bottom of the 9th!

  • @Bruiser48 God did and Hitchens struck him out looking.

  • @IntoDust24 Looks like Hitchens through out his arm on the 15th of December and his career came to an abrupt halt!

  • we will never figure out what is true in our lifetime, what both athiest and believers could agree on is we do exist now and we do have morals regardless of where they came from..enjoy life now because we are only here a short time regardless of what you believe in.

  • God is good.

  • @tippspur god is good for nothing.

  • @tippspur to hell with god

  • Unfortunatly, one can not destroy something that does not exist.

  • @phido79 Since God is an idea, it does exist as such. And as such, it truly can be destroyed.

  • @elight82 It is very likely that God will continue to exist long after science has destroyed our planet with global mass pollution or ever-worse weapons of war or both, who can say for sure?

  • Ohhh... burn on North Korean!! /zing!

  • By destroying God, he becomes God... take that Atheist!!!

  • @TooTrue2 ....it isn't highlander.....there can be ONLY ONE!!

  • How can you destroy something you don't believe in?

  • BTW, this is his debate with his brother, Peter Hitchens, who is a fundamentalist Christian. The irony turns my stomach.

  • Why does my iPod list comments that my computer does not? Both are listed chronologically and comments removed or those marked as SPAM are SUPPOSED TO be listed as such among the comments. They aren't supposed to be merely missing.

  • @tigersforchrist said [[ Repent & accept Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ or HELL?!? Visit..]

Thanks, but you proved his point. The bible's garden scenario is a synopsis of Christianity.

A&E were placed in someone else's garden to work the fields (Gen 2:15). They were told that if they rebelled, it's sudden death for them. I submit that this is the very definition of being a field slave. You are ordered to love and surrender your will to a being that threatens you with everlasting torture otherwise.

  • @tigersforchrist said [[Only a REAL FOOL would claim there is no God!]]

    .....

I see that you didn't even listen to the first sentence of the video. But then again, Christians don't listen at all. Why would you? You already think you know everything worth knowing. Conviction isn't knowledge.

Christians believe what they're talking about.

They have faith in what they're talking about.

But Christians don't know what they're talking about.

  • @tigersforchrist said [[You must accept Jesus Christ as your Savior to receive eternal rest in heaven!]]

    ....

I would rather die the second death in hell than be a Christian. That is, I refuse to exploit the unjust torture & crucifixion death of an innocent virgin that was giving the death penalty to "atone" for my "crime" of being an imperfect human...just as I was supposedly designed to be by a future-seeing, "predestinating" 'god'.

That Sir, is an evil preachment.

  • It's like hearing all of my favorite Hitchens quotes on religion compressed in a 10 minutes. Thus is truly amazing.

    I miss Hitchens.

  • Hitchens is awesome, why have I never heard of this guy.

  • @SunofVich I don't know whether to pity you for your lack, or envy you for the wonder of experiencing Hitchens for the first time...

Look up "Hitchslap" for a bunch of great clips.

  • Hitchens' greatest quote: "At least you can fucking die, and leave North Korea!"

  • BLAME GOD FOR EVERYTHING COS MURDERS AND CRIMINALS AND ALCOHOLICS AND GAMBLERS AND BULLIES AND HOMOSEXUALS AND PERVERTS AND SCHIZOPHRENICS AND TYRANTS ARE ALL GENETICALLY PREDISPOSED TO BE SO.

AND GOD MADE US IN HIS IMAGE,RIGHT ?

    FUCK GOD !!!

  • @bowmaker11 Uh, why did you include homosexuals in there?

  • GOD,THE ALL SEEING EYE IS WATCHING YOU! LOL.

KIM JON WAS ILL,AND THEN HE DIED HAHA.

  • “Time is the devourer of all things” (Virgil)

Death is the true end of personal time. Heaven is mealy a childish denial of reality, and the inability to escape the fear of the dark. Live your life why your here, and help future generations to do so too. Help them grow so they can break the chains of this religious slavery.

  • Hitchens could out debate and religious person, he was perhaps one ot the best debaters on earth. His common sense and logical mind was amazing and his comand of the english language always impressed.

  • @followgood If you go by that, by brotherinlaw a priest died at 58 from bone cancer whereas I a nonbeleiver have lived so far until 70 years, sort of kills your idea.

  • Comment removed

  • @followgood WOW, that god of your is one mean son of a bitch. I get confused with he is with jesus and at the same time we have to await the reserection. Which is it?

  • Comment removed

  • @followgood You are quite correct, when it comes to religion I am very ignorant.

When my mother died and my brother in law said "this is a happy day, your mother is on the lap of god ". Then when we went to the cemetary he said " she is here awaiting the reseraction to go to heaven ". I was and still am confused with the two statements.

My family is catholic and I am atheist as I just can not accept belief blindly like others do, I find too many flaws in it. No swearing please.

  • @followgood Thank you for your blessings and have a good day.

  • @followgood "destroyed by throat cancer for speaking blasphemy" exactly the sort of stupid and immoral reasoning that makes religion an enemy of free thinking. Hitchens liked to drink and smoked cigarettes for over 30yrs. Careful scientific study and collection of empirical evidence tells us that this cancer is caused by interaction between carcinogens in cigarette smoke and DNA. How dare you ignoramus! You have no idea what a gods will would be even if there existed one

  • @yournotright101 He exists

  • @followgood He may wel,l very unlikely but it cannot be at this time proved or disproved. However as I said before the kind of reasoning you used in your previous post shows that your religious thinking has made you an immoral ignoramous. So you would like to make the claim "he exists" great, how do you know this. What amazing evidence do you have that I do not.

  • Comment removed

  • @followgood No I said evidence that I dont have. The complexity of life and obvious relatedness we see is well explained for by evolution and it doesnt require a more complex being with no explanation for it to work. However this does not prove there is no god just that one was not required for all the systems you mention. I certainly see no reason to believe in an abrahamic god for those reasons and the bible provides only a disbelief at how gullible human beings truly can be. Any good reasons?

  • @yournotright101 Yes! your right, gullible, for someone to believe in evolution you got to be very gullible.

  • @followgood said [[ Yes! your right, gullible, for someone to believe in evolution you got to be very gullible. ]]

Science does not depend one nor rely upon "belief". In fact, science has NOTHING to do with belief. Belief & personal bias are even culled out of scientific testing via elaborate means of double-blind experimentation and so on.

You sound scientifically illiterate. If the subject is the objective world, then why do you speak of belief? Belief changes you, not the objective world.

  • @followgood Haha thats funny once again your showing how ignorant of understanding you are. I don't believe in evolution at all. I am however able to critically interpret the evidence. Such evidence as genetic relatedness of species, age of the earth, mutation rate of DNA etc you know ALL that evidence. So are you likely to actually attempt an arguement or are you just a monkey see monkey do kind of believer.

  • @followgood said [["destroyed by throat cancer for speaking blasphemy"]]

    ...

Actually, it was his esophagus, not his larynx. He died of cancer because of blasphemy you say? OK, then why do good and innocent children die of cancer? Why doesn't your 'god' strike down the pope for protecting child rapists? Why doesn't he just kill the child rapists himself? It would seem that Romans 1:18 is false after all. 'Not surprising. What's next, telling us that cancer is caused by devils?

  • @LucisFerre1 Whoa back. That was a quote from one of the righteous believers (which I am most certainly not). I used it in the same way you are. I was really annoyed that one of the moral brethren would say such a thing, but thats unfortunately the sort of immoral blinkered thinking I find in many "christians".

  • Hitchens was a hater of God.

  • @zerubabel3 In the same way many were haters of Voldemort...yes.

  • @followgood what is he waiting for ?

  • @zcarver25 Don't worry judgement day is coming soon

  • @followgood and how do you know that?

  • @zcarver25 The word of God

  • @followgood you mean the earth is 10K years old and rivers turn to blood and entire cities of dead people come back to life? read the bible you punk its bullshit

  • @followgood like the last time? and the time before that? and the time before that? and the time before that?...

  • Comment removed

  • @followgood It's been "very soon" for the last several centuries. What gives? Did God accidentally get caught in the middle of rush hour or something?

  • @MisterKauffman God timing is accurate, and the signs are in the sun, moon and the stars and have been since the beginning of our age. And trust in God because our age is about to end very soon, this is the generation we were warned about, are you ready?

  • @followgood Prove it.

  • Comment removed

  • @followgood No he hasn't, just saying some fucking make-believe deity did something doesn't mean that it's true. I don't need some jumped up religious nutcase telling me I god will shine a fucking light on me when I CAN SEE FINE ON MY OWN, AND IF ITS DARK I CAN USE A FUCKING TORCH.

  • I see all of these remarks about Hitchens. Yet, not one of these remarks is made by someone that is known for his/her intellect. You speak of a loving god, well, what does Susan Smith, Andrea Yates and God have in common? They have all drowned their children. Immature I know, however, so is a belief system based on fear.

  • @Hecklerkoch223 The Almighty is not a "religion" nor "belief system" I dont claim to be of any religion.

YAHWEH drowned twisted vile creatures that hated us that follow him, ate infants and drank human blood. Guess what? Where back in those days. Psst.. People drink blood. Dont say thats not happening... Look around you.

In 2003, The Ten Commandments monument removed! In 2010, god of DEATH denver airport! Hows that for bad measure? And you Atheists are afraid of YAHWEH that offers LIFE? Smh..

  • @trippleduo I literally have no idea what you are even talking about! Talk to me about fact logic reason or science! Other than that please leave me alone, you are borderline mental.

  • @trippleduo- there is no such thing. Israel first worshiped EL, the chief god in the Canaanite religion. It's the basis of the term 'EL'ohim and other biblical names, including Isra'EL'- called theorphorics- names that use the name of a deity. Then they began to combine different characteristics of EL and Baal in the figure Yahweh, an invented deity that came much later. Israel is simply a branch off of Canaanite religion. The Hebrew language itself is a Canaanite dialect.

  • @T8fgzz The Almighty's True sacred Name is locked in scripture preferably the Torah in a way MAN cant do it. "God" appears in the English translation. In the pure untouched Torah, ELOHIM is the original when it was first pinned. Isra"EL" was named after Jacob/Israel by the Almighty thats why the signature "EL" is there. And Capital LORD in the Bible represents his TRUE name but mistranslated (on purpose). In the Torah its YHVH. Not invented. Baal the Canaanites' religion is Babylonian.

  • @trippleduo- That is in accord with biblical tradition. It is not reflected in the actual discovered evidence within archeology. Anyone who studies ancient religions know this. Your knowledge is limited only to Israel's culture. The head god in the Canaanite pantheon was indeed, EL, discovered in the artifacts found in Ugarit, chronicling the Canaanite religion. Baal was the son of EL in the Canaanite pantheon. Babylonian religion, along with the Canaanites and later Israel, absorbed

  • @T8fgzz

The everlasting Covenant of YHVH promised to Abram-Jacob/Israel. Think not? Watch the news. The true children will return from exile. NOT A CULTURE!

    - One ELOHIM "EL" or "God" YHWH Deut. 6:4

    - One Name YHWH Zech 14:9

    - One Savior YHWH Isaiah 43:3,11

    - One Redeemer YHWH Isaiah 44:6

    - One Maker YHWH Isaiah 54:5

    - Only one can bear the name of YHWH it was His Son YHWH Messiah.

Anything bearing "el" without YHWH attached is idol worship. If YHWH didnt name it, its Babylon Case closed.

  • @trippleduo- yeah... You're citing passages from an heavily edited book of literature thinking that will give you any credibility. The Israel depiction of Yahweh came after....the Babylonian exile from historical and archeological evidence. So it make sense why ancient Israel would use elements of the Babylonian religion, from the Canaanites, as a process of naturalization. They all stole motifs from the earlier Sumerians because we have evidence of it.

  • @trippleduo-The Sumerians predate all the inhabitants because they were the first civilization to arise in the middle east. The creation, flood, and eden stories originate with them, not Israel. Both the Israelites and the Canaanites were indistinguishable according to archeological data. We to find that the final editors of the bible projected a monotheistic view to an earlier time in the final rounds of editing around 6-5th century BCE, where they inserted these stories.

  • @trippleduo- the religious ancient near east mythology of the Sumerians, who occupied the land before the emergence of Babylon since the Sumerians were the first recorded civilization in the fertile crescent, as discovered from their ruins and archeological data. They set the motif for the creation, flood, and eden stories, which are all found in the much older Sumerian mythology some as far back as 4th millennium BCE. Israel simply adapted and modified these older motifs.

  • @trippleduo said [[If you think those were stories stick around. YHWH made a Covenant with Israel and he meant it.]]

    ......

That bed time stories have made you afraid is not impressive Sir. That you are unable to impress the same fear upon those who are less credulous is also not impressive. I suppose it's time you do what most Christians do under the circumstances...start lying and attempting to undermine other people's freedoms of speech, belief and opinion.

  • @LucisFerre1 Shut up "LucisFerrre1" (LUCIFER) in the name of Yahshua YAHWEH my ELOHIM! The only people afraid of the Almighty is the likes of you "LucisFerrre1" (LUCIFER) so shut it.

  • @trippleduo Haha tried quoting bible verses, tried threatening with hell and now ranting. Why dont you try civil conversation

  • @trippleduo, Satan standing up to your 'god', even in the face of death, would be courage not fear. Do you know who fear of hell is for? It's not for nonbelievers like me. It's not for the sanctimonious like you. It's to torture your faithful mother. When loved ones aren't in lock-step with her religious views, she's tortured by the thought of them suffering in hell for an endless time. That's the so-called "morality" of Christianity. To make your good mother suffer over things she can't change.

  • @trippleduo- Elohim is a grammatically singular or plural noun for "god" or "gods" in both modern and ancient Hebrew language. The hebrew language is a Canaanite dialect and you can't tell the difference the further back you go. Modern "biblical" hebrew, however, emerged in 6th century BCE, around the time of the Babylonian exile. Elohim found in Ugaritic, is used for the pantheon of Canaanite gods, the children of El conventionally vocalized as "Elohim", "gods".

  • I love fairy tales....Get robbed and stabbed at knife point and see how well prayers protect you and loved ones.

  • @trippleduo You cannot use scriptures to justify your answer if I have previously stated I am not a believer. For some unknown reason religious types always believe that some scripture will change my mind..

  • @Hecklerkoch223 Ah, sure I can use scripture, dont be brainless "Heckler".

Your mind has already been changed. You just dont know it yet. This is YAHWEH our ELOHIM Universe, NOT yours. Silly Atheists. Dead Souls walking.

    Romans 14:11

11 - For it is written, As I live, saith YAHWEH, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to ELOHIM.

Remember there's always hope in Yahshua while your in the flesh.

Not judging, its pure scripture. Offended? Your problem not mine.

  • @trippleduo "Brainless" that is something that needs to be used to describe your belief. Please offer me one bit of credible evidence. Not some book that has been rehashed and rewritten so many times to please the political climate of the time! Actually don't offer me evidence, that would mean that I would have to comment again on what will otherwise be a pointless convo!!!

  • I see one problem, people that agree and understand are the majority that watch. The ones on the fence or HARDCORE brainwashed dont. Sad. Dont ?" faith in god" ( no cap's on ignorance ). Example added to C.H's history lesson: late 1st millenium, confess to a monk in ur home, man-kitchen-wife-loft, (private) red head monk__9 months she has a red head baby. " Demons" Incubus"witch" ? FF to 2002: catholic scandals, ( WOW go figure ), unfettered power corrupts and the ignorant follow like sheep.

  • Is this going down at GVSU? All of the sudden, I'm thinking Allendale sounds very appealing.

  • 0:02

It is if the audience is going to waste time by clapping at every goddamn point the speaker makes.

    /pet peeve

  • @tnekkc God is cancer?

  • @kissfan7

God is the rules of the universe.

If you smoke, drink, and make an ass of yourself, the end comes sooner.

  • @tnekkc "God is the rules of the universe."

No, the rules of the universe are the rules of the universe. There's no reason to call them "God". Might as well just call this nickel in my pocket "God".

  • @kissfan7

There are a million ways of looking at anything, but the path to happiness and prosperity is proven.

  • @tnekkc "[T]he path to happiness and prosperity is proven."

It sure is. That path is reason, secularism, and Enlightenment values. Societies and people who embrace these values are better off than those living in superstition, religion, and ignorance.

  • @kissfan7

You say as you sit childless in your parent's basement.

  • @tnekkc Actually, 200 miles away from said parents, with a steady boyfriend and plans for marriage and adoption. Projection can sometimes suck.

Even more annoying than ad hominems are false ad hominems. More annoying than both are false ad hominems that have zero to do with the actual discussion.

  • @kissfan7 Oh hey, another person that dislikes (false/non-false) ad hominems in these arguments. And here I was thinking I was the only one. :P

  • @Redezem Oh, I only mind some ad hominems. If someone were to say, "Your opinion on capital punishment is wrong because you're way too handsome, witty, and awesome in bed" I wouldn't complain.

  • @tnekkc Naw, man. Cancer killed him.

  • Hitchens thought is very basic and unsophisticated and ignorant. he actually knows very little about relgion etc. he is not to be taken seriously

  • How does an atheist explain miracles? How do you explain the old woman with a 3 inch tumor of cancer on her neck that I've prayed over with a group of Christians, and immediately it shrunk away, completely healed? Or the man who had no tongue... A prayer, and his tongue instantly regrew? Or the boy who's right leg was 2 inches shorter than his left, a prayer, and his leg grew out on the spot?

  • @Freez3Fire Miracles, in every case, have natural explanations that are necessarily more probable than any supernatural explanation. For instance, the "healing" of one leg being shorter than another is a common charlatan's trick that relies on the power of suggesstion, beyond that it is the burden of the religionist to show evidence for a violation of science's conception of the natural world. Given that evidence I would happily change my views, but religion demands belief, not evidence.

  • @Freez3Fire parlor tricks at worst, psychological phenomena at best. Either way, it is explainable without religion.

  • I consider myself fortunate to be living in an age where the complete stupidity of religion can be talked about.

  • @northoforacle And on Great White Throne Judgement you will be shamed to see how Stupid your actions were in your life unless you repent!

    Revelation 20:12

12 - And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before ELOHIM; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

  • @trippleduo God also says do not judge, and you're doing a lot of that on this youtube site. Leave the judging to God, brother. God loves all people, even those whom do not choose to believe in Him. Therefore, you should love and respect all people despite their varying differences in opinion. Only God decides who gets into Heaven and who doesn't. If there is INDEED a God, I'm sure the vast majority of atheists would believe, because it is simply a fact.

  • @iDoThisForThePoor It is not me judging. If I myself was judging, there would be no scripture references. When scripture is quoted the immediate reaction is judging. It is not my words in scripture but YAHWEH my ELOHIM. If anyone is offended by it, it clearly it attacks their lifestyle. Again scripture is YAHWEH my ELOHIM words.

Example: Someone worshiping Madonna; I say idols is an abomination to him/her

    Reference: Deuteronomy 7:25-26

NOT my judgement but YAHWEH my ELOHIM.

  • @trippleduo I'm under the impression that everything has a designer. The computer you're looking at didn't simply occur by "chance". This is also true with the natural laws and complexities of the universe. I believe God designed it all. I believe that God simply is-- so vast that He cannot be "proven"; He is.

  • @trippleduo- The great white judgement isn't concerned with morality. People aren't condemned because of how immoral they are. They are condemn for unbelief. Believers aren't "saved" because of the morality of their actions, they are saved specifically for faith. It has nothing to do with morals, otherwise people would be judge on the basis of their actions regardless of whether or not they believe in the particular deity.

  • @T8fgzz I'm already aware of this. This is why we have Yahshua his very name itself means (Yahweh's Salvation). My point in bringing up The Great White Throne Judgement is due to the fact that Atheists will be judged according to their actions of a lifetime of denial of Yahshua (Yahweh's Salvation). Is it not written? 1 John 2:23? They have no Salvation. They make it their mission every waking day to spread the doctrine of evolution and "do as thou wilt." (Satan's Doctrine)

    John 14:6 Repent!

  • @trippleduo You're insane. It's not a crime to be insane, but you should consider voluntarily removing yourself from society. Spend some time in a psychiatric hospital. Do something, but seek help. For your own safety and ours. I wish you the best.

  • @mouthyweasel Like I said "Mouthy", Im not a Freemason. Why dont you try and "evolve" into a human, dont forget a brain, then maybe, just maybe you'll find yourself standing for something in life other than that drunk looney whacky quacky Christopher Hitchens and your Ape ancestors.

  • @trippleduo Perfect example an idiot.

  • @Mindaugas7100 "Perfect example" All you Atheistic Babylonians come back with that same line. You bet its a perfect example. Its YAHWEH's Word. You Atheists are blind simpletons. Go back to sleep.

  • @trippleduo Well, I am awake and I think you need to wake up as well.

  • @trippleduo-"bringing up The Great White Throne Judgement is due to the fact that Atheists will be judged according to their actions of a lifetime of denial of Yahshua"- such a religion, then, has no basis on morality. It is non-existing. Instead of people taking responsibility for their actions, this religion is concerned with faith nonsense that excuse the very atrocities people do. Then, at the same time, drone on about morality as if to has any authority on the matter.

  • @T8fgzz I was making a point about rape and murder. Can you read? Since Atheists live by "do as thy wilt" no other law applies. Hence getting away with rape and murder is immoral.

    Revelation 21:8

8 - But the COWARDS, and UNBELIEVING, and the ABOMINABLE, and MURDERERS, and WHOREMONGERS, and SORCERERS, and IDOLATERS, and ALL LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the SECOND DEATH.

Romans 10:13 Let the above reminds you of your fate. Simple.

  • @trippleduo Oh, blow it out your ass, you psycho.

  • @mouthyweasel Pretty "Mouthy" are you not?

  • @trippleduo- If romans 10 were the case, simple faith in a savior will not save anyone. People would then be judged on the basis of their actions which show no need for a savior to believe in. That's not what the bible says. Eternal life is not given on the basis of a person's actions. We know there were biblical figures who have...murdered- moses, david. You could apply many of those to a lot of biblical characters at one point.

  • His book "God is Not Great" belongs in every single hotel room across the United States of America. If I hit the lottery I'll see to it.

  • @mouthyweasel I agree but leave the audiobook instead. Christians don't read. Save some trees too.

  • @mouthyweasel I hope you win the lottery!

  • @mouthyweasel Yep so all the prostitutes, drug pushers, drug users, murderers, gamblers, depressed people like you, child molesters, the suicidal etc. can pick it up and be more lost. While you're at it, throw in a Smith n Wesson 500 for good measure.

They are sure to have no hope. Genius/

Thats the new "evolved" world you people want to live in?

"God is Not Great" Straight from the Atheist dung hill.

    John 11:25-27

  • @trippleduo You genuinely scare me, trippleduo.... you strike me as the kind of religitard that, if it were proven to you that there is no god, then you'd go out and start committing atrocities because you'd feel you lost all need for moral accountability. I only suspect this, but that IS the feeling I get from you. Am I right?

  • @mouthyweasel Im not a Freemason. Go back to sleep silly Atheist.

  • Religious people have said to me that I should humble under the realization that we are all made by god. I say, humble under the realization and fact that we are related and connected with every living thing on this planet. THAT is something to humble about.

  • Hitch you beauty, your light shines on. Much better than Santa or Jesus. Though not as good as Yoda.

  • @ellenmeilee When you say 'Yoda' I hope to science that you are referring to the original Yoda and not that hopping fool that Lucas turned him into. Actually, I assumed that's exactly what you meant but I just wanted to make a statement in the name of science... =)

  • @sipes55 Was the Yoda in the Star Wars films based on an actual person then? I didn't know that.

I'm having fish & chips for my dinner. No mushy peas though.

  • So when does he get around to destroying God? I didn't see it. He went on and on about how horrible North Korea is, which is an atheist nation by the way. He was mocking and whining and ranting, but I didn't hear any arguments that could be falsified. Just opinions. By the way, God won.

  • @michaelwriting1 Either you are being deliberately evasive and simply refusing to listen to the evidence or you are a genuine moron.

  • I miss Hitch.

  • Preach hitch! rip

  • Brilliant speech.

  • "Celestial North Korea"

    lmao

  • What a coherent argument against religious faith: religion was our first crack at understanding the world and regulating the masses. An interesting footnote in history

  • Most atheists today are nothing more than a bunch of children throwing out ad-homimen comments as if that is suppose to win a debate. Dawkins, Hitchens are a total embarrassment. They are not serious about critical thinking, are only interested in getting applause from an audience who is twice as stupid. Where is the critical thinking based on authors such a Ortega-Gasset, Nietzsche, Camus, Beckett. Hitchens was not a great thinker as much as he was a con-man bullshitter.

  • @123WalshJack

Are you able to address a single point that Hitchens made in this video?

Or is your strategy simply to attack the man, and not the argument?

  • @123WalshJack Okay. Prove him wrong.

  • @123WalshJack Please point out the ad-hominem arguments in this video.

You speak of unsupported claims, yet you are guilty of the same. Elaborate or shut up.

  • @123WalshJack well someone needs to approach the people of today in a manner that the listeners prefers. Otherwise no one will listen.

The christians are doing the same thing, like allowing gay marriage for example.

  • This idiot was a total embarrasment to atheists. Not once did this idiot ever talk about any of the great thinkers such a Nietzsche, Schopenaur, Sartre. This guy was only interested in debated the listest weight Christians and lining his pockets with money from atheists who were stupid enough to finance him. He was not a great thinker, and didn't hold a candle to thinkers such as Bertrand Russell or Jean Paul Sartre. Most atheists today are nothing but sheep.
