I'd heard of Schrödinger's cat, and something about an experiment with his cat, but this is the first video that I've ever seen that actually EXPLAINS it, and now my brain hurts. anyway, great vid, keep up the good work!
Hi Cube! I have an idea of a invisible elevator, i don't know how to make it but maybe you do!
The elevator is made of 6 pistons and 6 sand blocks, the six piston will have to push each other and the sand blocks will then appear out of the ground. so the land is flat, then the pistons extend under the ground, pushing the sand blocks 6 blocks above ground, when the pistons retract the sand will fall down again and the elevator is invisible!
If you have time, please make something like it! :D
@knarkautomat You should look up portcullis circuit s on wiki. Sorta what people use to make opening and closing gates in minecraft. I'm guessing you could just reuse those circuits for the same effect. But insted of pushing up a gate you would push up a player.
@TheSteini96 Yeah but there would be two states. In one the cat is alive and in the other the cat is dead. If the cat is alive it would know that is. But at the same time there is also a state where the cat is dead. And these states would coexist next to each other whilst not being able to interact or even see each other. Another cool interpretation is the many worlds interpretation. You should look it up in wiki. It's cool stuff.
@TheBartmandk There is a whole bunch of glowstone in the farming cell. So it did have light. The chicken was just very lucky. I seriously waited 30 min.
@invinciblemode Austria speaks german. So names like 'Bauer', 'Müller' aren't rare in Austria nor in Germany. Same goes with Schrödinger, it sounds just as German as Austrian.
This is the same as asking "If a tree falls in the forest and there's no one to hear it, does it make a sound?" Observation doesn't make something IS. Something happening makes it is..
Haha, cool! Now do a minecraft interpretation of the double-slit experiment :P Or if you want to go one step further with this one, the Wigner's friend experiment ;]
GLaDoS: "Speaking of curiosity, you're curious about what happens after you die, right? Guess what? I know! You're going to find out first-hand before I can finish telling you, though, so I won't bother. I'll give you a hint: you're going to want to pack as much living as you possibly can into the next couple of minutes."
Absolutely awesome. I subscribed for this.

If you gave a cat a dead leg would that count?
Unh3lpful 2 months ago
You could not have waited 30 minutes, the chicken was still a baby, they take five minutes to grow up! still good idea though.

Schrödinger's cat was actually a sarcastic response from Schrödinger to other physicists beliefs.

@Philadelphiafreedom I created a chicken that is both dead and alive at the same time. Doesn't really proof anything.
