The reason DK Land is my favorite among the three DK Lands, is because it is the most original. More unique bosses, save for K. Rool, who they still made a bit fresh with his battle patterns, and different worlds and stages. The music is rather memorable, and makes me wonder how'd they sound in 16-bit. DK Land 2 and 3, however, are basically handheld ports of DKC 2 and 3 respectively, only not as great. At least DK Land 1 can stand out as its own game.

@doom1killer123 i know, for a second i thought they were playing it on a gameboy color (even still there would be hardly any color, since the gbc doesnt bump up much color for gb games :P) and im not talking bad about the gameboy, it happens to be my favorite consoul ever and an addiction of mine. (gb, gbc, gba i luv it all! XD) the virtual boy, however, is another story. It was a cool idea, but nintendo just didnt have the technology back then to do it right.

(and it would be a waste to buy the gamecube just for the gameboy player, since i already have a wii. maby when the wiiu comes out.....)

@Tuchiee the super gameboy was a gameboy player for the snes if you put a gameboy or gameboy color game in it and put the super gameboy in your snes the game would be on your tv in color. so it was used so that you could play your gb,gbc games on the tv in color.(hope that i helped you)

The Super GameBoy was a cartridge that allowed you to play your GameBoy games on the television if you owned a Super Nintendo (hence the "Super" in Super GameBoy). You put the cartridge in the SNES port, you put the GameBoy game into the cartridge port, and voilà: GameBoy games on TV. They released a similar peripheral for the GameCube that let you play GBA games on your TV. I owned both.

Fun fact: The story behind this game was that Cranky Kong was mad that Donkey Kong Country sold so well and said it only did so because of the great graphics and sound. He gives the banana hoard back to King K. Rool and dares Donkey and Diddy to do well on the Game Boy, where they couldn't really sell because of graphics.
