hey got a question, I hate chest day and im stuck on the same weight for like a month now, is there any workouts or anything to get me out of this or something that will help me enjoy working out chest? thanks
I don't care what any of these haters says Scott, you're tips and advice is awesome. I was bullied too, not as that much, but I still understand. You are doing a great service. God Bless Sir.
@ZaPeeXP well, 3-4 times a week. But it depends on how well you train. Normal sets are fine just to be in shape like 3x10 or so. Keep it simple. Once you'll be older, you will be able to work on strenght with big exercices like squating and deadlifting heavy weights with small reps. For know, i'll suggest you to keep it simple :)
@ZaPeeXP don't whorry bro, I worked out carefully, just to be in shape till 17 years old. Now my height is 6'4'' and my body is able to be pushed. I know lots of people who trained like crazy in their young age and now have problems with their back. Let time go my friend, time is everything. Keep it up :)
@JoeLovesFitness it forces one side to do more work ... so you get a chance to isolate the muscle group that you want to work. I mean you can do the same thing by doing dumbbell presses but it is mainly about switching it up and adding a new bag of tricks to your workout. If you have any other questions feel free to reply to this comment or message me ... if you would like free fitness videos please check out my channel and let me know what you think. Have a good one :)
scott i think in each of your vids u should explain how what this exercise works. eg in this vid explain the advantages of doing pushups with uneven balls compared to even ones. thanks mate
@ZaPeeXP You should not worry about that.. When I started working out at the age of 15, it took me two years for my chest to look even. By time your chest will look a lot better, not fully even, but when you gain enough muscle it won't be visible :)
I dont see why people try and make fun of Scott... He's obviously jacked and ripped beyond belief. almost assuredly more than the people who are hating on him. when you look like Scott, then you can TRY to criticize. Not that theres really anything to criticize anyways.
i guess the point of doing this is to activate a lot of muscles needed for balancing that you would not doing regular push ups, just like with trx, right?
sorry, i'm new to this stuff, but your videos are very helpful, thanks scott!
@derSchmidi yes and it also offsets the weight that one arm has to work with ... so in a way you would be isolating one muscle group more than the other ... so it does work on balance and it does work on muscle isolation. If you have any other questions feel free to reply to this comment or message me ... if you would like free fitness videos please check out my channel and let me know what you think. Have a good one :)
@Brachios12 Also, increase the number of repetitions since you're doing more weight and the slow repetition should help to develop a burn in the target muscle group, this will allow you to create the mind-muscle connection that I feel is crucial when working out.
@Brachios12 Try taking the weight down and performing the repetitions slower such as a 1-4-1-4 rule and have a spotter watch you perform the exercise to help correct any deficiencies.
Can anyone help? When i do chest exercises like dumbbell press and fly's i feel it in my deltoids and triceps. I know it's a form issue but i don't know specifically how to correct it.
@Brachios12 your shoulders and triceps are going to be working no matter what you do. You should do iit at a lower weight and concentrate on squeezing the muscle gro. If you have any other questions feel free to reply to this comment or message me ... if you would like free fitness videos please check out my channel. Have a good one :)
Screw the haters scott! i'm short and want to make a point he bullies, thing is my parents are asking me if i take stuff, and i'm like no! i do good continuous training, keep a good diet and have enough rest to heal my muscles to be able to carry on being a hermanite! i love you bro carry on training us mentally and physically
@superman5212 no.. I just got the shit kicked out of me everyday and wanted to be big and strong like my superheroes in my comics. Sad, but just the way it is.
I started at the age of 13 and I had a super awesome body transformation. First I was fat and now I got a sixpack. And the SHF has giving me the inspiration to even train harder. Thank you
@ScottHermanFitness but your not big, i know people who have been training for 2 years and they have a better physique than you, like Josef Rakich, hes natty too
@ScottHermanFitness your story is interesting , were you bullied or something and decided you wanted to build to beat up those jackass's if you ask me , your inspirational anyway , keep it up man!
@superman5212 I worked out at the age of 13 and now im 16. I think i look alright, a lot bigger then most 16 year olds, but don't look like this guy yet haha!
@superman5212 im 15 and i started working out at 12 years old too and i did it for the same reason as scott did i know how he feels so dont judge him you asshole
@rbalabuch yes but you have to make sure you do it on both sides of your body or one side will be stronger than the other side.
