Loved this fight...I'm one of the few people still on the Berto bandwagon. Estrada one the toughest guys out there(check his fight with Cintron for further proof) really pushed berto and hung in there taking vicious shots. Great fight, one of Bertos finest hours.

I like Berto. He's got speed, good foot work, and power, but one of the things that bothers me is his size. he's a very small welterweight, and i don't know it he would be able to contend with Margarito, Pual williams, or Kermit Cintron. A fight with cotto, Hatton or Mayweather would be good though.

i like this guy berto he throws good combinations and his defence is pretty good! reminds me a little bit of james toney. if he can relax like toney does in the ring he would be a lot better! but obviously that will come with more fights and time. but i look forward to seeing how he progresses. i think he would be competative with anyone in the ww division right now.

sure can he would have been closer on the score cards if he did not run around the ring and become exhausted. That was bad strategy. He should have fought margo like he did against quintana but he had respect for him and would put two hits on him move four cimbination move to the side c'mon. The kid has some real talent. I'm from South Fla so I'd love to see this guy succeed and get a big title shot soon, but To be honest I think he needs a little more experience before he steps into the ring with those guys you mentioned up top. In this fight he plays into his opponents strength, or possibly only legit chance to win, by staying close and brawling. Against a guy like Cotto you better be moving around not just putting your hands up absorbing hits and waiting for your turn.

Right now, i think he would lose a UD. He definitely needs more experience to face an elite fighter like Floyd. Maybe next year, if he continues he unbeaten streak and gets some good wins vs serious opposition, he could be ready for a title shot.

I think he stacks up with mayweather quite well. He's got a tight defence, fast hands, hard punch and he improves with every fight. plus he's got mayweathers old WBC Welterwright title now.

@SilverEchidna Bero is good but he wouldnt beat Mayweather. He's the type of fighter Mayweather wants to fight, he's someone who throws alot of punches and makes alot of mistakes and mayweather would capitalize on those aspects but a good fight for him would be against Cotto.
