@Levente20 Because it was a secret slot. Pulp also played the saturday secret slot and the seceret slot is always the park stage. Word broke out it was Radiohead quite early in the day though.

Lucky bastard. Thanks for the quick upload. I read the guardian review, what a load of shite the review was complaining that it was TKOL heavy and not enough clasics. What did they expect, they are not a jukebox as someone commented. I do hope they headline the pyramid stage again soon, hopefully in two years time as I plan on going to Glasto 2013. As far as I know next year is going to be cancelled due to the Olympics.

@TheSpaffmaster It only complained about that given the event. Obviously a massive fan would probably RATHER they play the new stuff... I would. But any band playing a festival like glasto is going to be better appreciated if they play the tracks that the general crowd wants to hear. If U2 had just played their new stuff no one would complain that they're "not a jukebox"... they'd just think they had their heads up their arses. I don't think that of RH, but the review is just being honest.

@greyztone thats why they are Radiohead...they don't pander. If they started playing only what casual fans want to hear, they wouldn't be Radiohead...Plus, who really needs to instantly recognize songs to get into them.. this is 2011, its not like we are going to see the Eagles and they didn't play Hotel California. Old or new, radiohead plays the shit out of every song.

@thebarrens Of course they would still be Radiohead if at festivals they played *more* of the hits... they do exactly that a fair bit... even digging out creep on occassion. And thinking about it, even as a huge Radiohead fan who would love to hear the new stuff live, if I'd been standing in the rain and mud for hours nothing would make me happier than them playing the classics and the crowd going wild. I'd rather hear the new stuff in a better environment with fans who actually care.
