You have to remember that the late 70s and early 80s look was pretty much in by 1981- 1982. Even clothing and hairstyles was revived from that specific time period. Jordache jeans, Farrah hairstyles, summer dresses, etc. All those styles from 1981-1982 was making huge comebacks at one time.
wow, I find it almost kinda funny that everyone posting here is either a fake beatle and/or knows Mitch.
yeah, I agree...everything is too late 70's and early 80's to pass for early 60's looks and fashion. Even the arrangement of the music was somewhat similar to ELO
Overalls were also entirely popular by the early 80s period(1980-1982), too. While overalls were a 70s thing, they didn't go out of style for quite a while. I think I worn similar overalls that Scott Baio had when I was eleven years old. That's right in 1980. I did wear the same material that Scott is wearing in this episode.
The only thing wrong with Chachi is this is to represent the early 1960's and his entire look is not true to the time period. Wrong hair style ...overalls with a baseball jersey t-shirt? This would have worked great in the 1970's when this style was in. Oh, by the way, Mitch is a good actor.
Wow. A Joanie Loves Chachi episode. How did you get this? I never I would have thought I'll see this again. I haven't seen this one since Joanie Loves Chachi originally aired.
I would love to have this on DVD... I love Mitch and I love Paul... :-) AAAAAAAHHH!**THUD**

BTW, I think the fashion of overalls with a jersey shirt was more of an 80s fashion than 70s.
