Yeah I was going to get my own modem to put the hacked firmware on when I had Comcast since if they caught me, I would just go to Verizon FIOS anyways. You haven't been caught by Comcast with that modem?
it's gona become obsolete in a couple of days anyway. their entire infrastructure in my town is changing. but that just means i'll be getting a new modem and a nice speed of 100mbps

Nice. I had Comcast and I hated them. I have Verizon FIOS now and get 25Mb/s up and 25/Mb/s down... Perfect for running a server.

comcast did the upgrade. did not need new modem. th speeds now tops out at 49 mbps
