I have a slight quirk with this MB. I have to restart my PC and set the BIOS and change the Lan Connector to enable or disabled if I switch from my Wireless USB Internet antenna to a hard wired RJ45. Kinda weird, but tolerable. I wish this thing would support more than 8GB of RAM. Other than that it was a great buy for its time!

This is a good motherboard I bought it on sale @ Fryz. Since it has the onboard dvi u don't have to buy a video card. Later when I got some $ and I put on a 5850 and it runs great. When I get some more $ I'll buy another motherboard and use the asus as another comp. Its the best price very versatile I would recommend this motherboard to anyone

I love Newegg to start good company, I dident have any problems with the cpu or the motherboard cpu was able to fit rite in since the thermo past was already on the heat sink I havent had any problems yet except the metal piece or cover that goes over the ports on the motherboard it was hard to fit it on right so i just said screw it and put it in the case without it . the processor works at 2.86 ghz which is good for me. but I really haven't had any problems everything seems to be good.

You'd need a ATX sise (most likely) with CrossFire capability, and a CrossFire capable PSU.

It's not SLI because it's not NVIDA. It's Radeon so it's Crossfire.

all am3 means it supports ddr3, however phenom 2 will work on certain am2+ boards with 140watts support. Anything below 140w will damage the board or even fry the south or north bridge.

comes with overclocking profile, lets you set how much you want to overclock.

set mine to 10% (max) and its stable

u can go beyond that, on overclocking profiles change it to manual and the 200 u see in there u can change it by typing it in your numeric pad! READ YOUR MANUAL!

when i finally decided to return to clock settings from 2.86 to 2.6, my monitor wouldn't respond for about 10min at bootup, unless i do a restrat.

when i re-overclocked, its fine.

I have a amd 5200 ( 2.7ghz) x2 I have overclock to 3.1ghz x2 . overclocking tools is usefull..

And the fan on the Cpu depend of qitch Cpu you buy . With my cpu I had nice big fan , cup still at 33 Celcius .Maby because of my antec nine andred case .. lol But thats nice little mother board . but the GPu onboard SUCK .. Is a ATI radeon 3100 350 default core clock and 400 core clock .. at 32 bit lol and bandwith low like 4 gb sec..... lol
