@m4yflower Because of high fuel consumption, and they're quite old =/ Finnair has saved 2 MD-11's and now they're flying for Finnair Cargo

you really only understand the size of the plane when that guy connects some wire to it at about 2:41 :D then think about how big a 747 or an A380 is

@DragracingX : It's a ground power cable, so they can shut down the engines and don't have to start the APU. APU usage at EFHK is restricted only to unavoidable situations; In my experience, usually APUs are started around 5 min before push-back. :)
