  • but you seem like youll be real hot mama cowgirl dancers!!!! hehe

  • That is a cute step, and simple, but do it a few times and feel the burn!!

  • the lady in the back is HILARIOUS hahahhahahahahhaahhahahahahha

ok um it's the yellow highlights..BIG MISTAKE LADY.....big

  • Horsie step? What is that? O_o

  • This step is an ancient move performed by the Bedouin people of Egypt. the Bedouins do not point their toes. being of Sa'idi background, they do not point their toes. they keep their feet grounded - therefore, flat on the ground and when raised, a flat position. furthermore they do not move the chest area as is it considered vulgar. this woman is teaching all folklore moves incorrectly.

  • never seen this movement before

  • i agree, i hav'nt seen this move befor either

    lol

  • please read my comment to AzadiRaqs.

  • please read my comment to AzadiRaqs.

  • now thats just sad...horsie step?

  • Horsie step? insulting! the Horse Step is a Bedouin move and the foot is flat on the floor when it comes down.

  • oh get over it

  • obviously you are a person who doesn't care what is right or wrong, or you would not have made such a remark. you must understand, that this woman is teaching something that is very traditional to the Bedouin people and it truly is not correct. Egyption Folklore is taken very seriously. i ask you please, to be more understanding.

  • Added to playlist.

  • good tip thanks

  • Thanks so much for sharing

  • Not sure that I would explain a chest isolation as the 'opening of a garbage can lid'. I'm sure she could find a better metaphor than that.

  • not only that. In Egyptian Folklore, we do not use the chest. As for the "garbage can" - what an insult!

  • "She F----in sucks" -says the critic. Who can barely string together a sentence.

I appreciate all the dancers and instructors who share their talent and expertise on YouTube and other similar sites. Thanks so much for helping me grow as a dancer!

  • omg!!!

    this was my Bellydancing teacher.

    I love you mrs.karen

  • sorry. she may have been your belly dancing teacher - and she is good. however, she has belly dancing mixed up with egyptian folklore and the 2 are very different. how sad!! now people all over are learning what they think is folklore and they will be wrong.
