I had heard of the moonwalk and i heard his name before growing up, until june 25th 2009, when we went to the circus came home and i saw my mom watching a newscast and a country singer was talking on the phone about his death. i had my best friend over for a sleepover and looked him up on wikipedia for the first time ever and said "he died today" in shock. ive been his biggest fan ever since.
