@bspiner LOL thank u very much. This is an old vid....i`ve been practicing....just need to get some current vids done. Once again thank u. Happy landings
nice vid ang flying, dude. 5 stars. can you recommend some good tx other than spektrum? i'm looking for a "value-for-money" tx good enough for a starter/ amateur like me. thanks!!!
The DX6 or parkflier DX7 are both available at pretty reasonable prices, but i flew on stock radio`s in RTF models for about 6 months before taking the plunge (Santa brought me mine....lol) Anyway i`d stick with them till you know for sure that the hobby is for you, then if so its worth taking the plunge for a decent tx. The Spektrum kinda is at the budget end price wise for quality gear, but i really rate it. Hope that gives you food for thought.
I use a Spektrum DX7, which i fly everything i own on, bar my wee 4g3 which is 2.4 gig anyway. Its great to set up and really is bulletproof. Had a few issues with an ESKY one before....like a King 2 trying to cut my head off lol! Just went tec, but i`d had it for 6 months with no probs. I lost the tail one day with it and rebuilt, i was sure it wasn`t me at fault, then when test hovering the same thing happened so i binned and replaced with the DX7. Its excellent and real good value.
It didn`t have any other upgrades. Had a bump though, a servo failed while i was inverted. Em not too cool. But from the ashes arises a more modified machine. Still got the curtis youngblood blades and Spektrum radio, but i`ve added metal control arms to try to eliminate the slop and replaced the standard esky servo`s with the newer digitals. Had a hover in wind and it felt less sloppy than before but wont really know till i get a proper flight in sensible conditions....cant wait ;-)
Hi that's some great flying and also a great video. I've got a Belt CP too and have been flying it for around 6 months or so. Yep, I like them nose-in slow flights too - that's what trying to master at the moment...looks like you have your's sorted!
I do mostly fly in idle up yeah. Depends what i`m trying to learn though. For nose in i`d not be initially. That flight was all on idle up and was also my first inverts with the CP. I`d been doing a fair bit with the Honey Bee though so it wasn`t too bad. Good luck with he nose in. Do you use a sim? Even a bad one helps with your coordination. I didn`t initially but the weathers been shocking here so am finding myself on it more and more :-(
Hey, yeh I do use the sim a lot these days. I didnt have the sim when I was flying my Walkera 22E but now with the Belt CP's I use the sim regularily. The sim is Realflight G4 - excellent stuff - wish I had it before I bought ANY heli's! Haha, all of a sudden I can fly perfect nose in's - well, almost as good as yours and I bring it in to a hover at around 1m. Great fun! I hope to post some vids up soon - mine are so old on here it's not funny - back when I was hovering haha!
Lol thanks. I think its been someone trying to annoy me from one of the sites i fly at. The guy has never watched a vid or logged in since makin the comment. Pretty lame but hey ho if thats the best he`s got I`ve had a lot worse. Dont expect to get positive critisism all the time, but i`ve had alot from youtube and like to give a little back. BTW if you watch my other CP vids i do a fair whack of rolls, and the HBK2 vid is pretty chocker too. Thanks for the comments.
Once again cheers guys. I dont claim to be an expert, nor do I claim to be 3D competent. I`m probably an intermediate, which I find very hard to find similar videos to mine. What I mean is its mostly novices or experts. And i`m neither. I`m trying to get into 3D with practice, hence the use of the tail to help with my orientation and working hard on my inverts and flips/rolls. The CP has stock gyro and is worked hard. I`m self taught so every step forward is a positive in my book.
very nice flying i like your forward flights slowing down to a hover.very smooth.kudos!
stuarthall40: he did state "Almost 3D" in the description didn't he? and for most people (including me) hovering alone takes a lot of skill, much less than doing a roll?
I`ve only had it going for a couple of months. There pretty bad set up out the box and took about 2 weeks to set up right. Wel worth taking the time to do though. Thanks for all the positive comments ;-)
325 at the moment but i have a set of 315`s sitting. I made a mistake ordering them for hbk2 but they will go on the CP but the roll rate is pretty quick anyway.
LOL i`ll take that on board. My mate borrowed a pro camera (although its degraded a fair bit when i posted) but when he gave me the discs he`d already added the music. I`ll have some more at the weekend so i`ll post some raw. PS i love my king 2!
Lol thanks very mush guys. The heli is virtually stock. Only exception is Curtis Youngblood blades, Esky carbon paddles and a hell of a lot of setting up. I fly all my heli`s on Spektrum and thats it...the rest you can decide...once again thanks ;-)
ok but not hard.

Gyro Reverse?
0TOM007 2 years ago
u have to set the trimmer
its on the left side under the power and rotating controller
u must put it more to right side if the heli rotates to left or put it to left side if heli rotates to right
hovever if it is your first time with non c0-axial helicopters better ask more experienced pilot to do this for u

I need to check with my mate. He put the vid together so i`ll ask and get back to you. Thanks for the comment.
Jonaped170 3 years ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
Its not really "hard flying" is it? And not really 3d either, flying around using lots of tail rotor.
I think that you oversell yourself and your ability and undersell a great helicopter that can do so much more than you are able to do with it.
stuarthall40 3 years ago
great man, i wish i could fly my stocky belt cp just like that
