@TheMelL28 Da kann ich dir nur zustimmen! Allein der Körper von diesem Pferd zeigt schon wie vernünftig er geritten wird. Toll, dass es noch Richter gibt, die so ein Paar zum Weltmeister machen. :)

Although she has many horses in her yard time is not on her side, she needs to be placed at either Badminton/Burghley or similar on an advanced horse in 2011 and then be in the team for the Europeans and do well there. If she wants an Olympic team place the only solution might be " a ready-made advanced horse to buy and I don't think team Phillips is prepared to that. Fox-Pitt seems to be able to produce so many advanced horses he is never without a ride.

This horse is the epitome of what a three day event World Champion should be. His cadence, balance, lightness, speed across country and overall class won the day. Very well done team GB - so glad you got gold again at last, augurs well for 2012. Would not be surprised to see Mark King at 51 still competing, she is quite phenomenal. One note, where was Zara Phillips - is she a one horse wonder? She has less than two years to establish an Olympic ride.

@rohansrider - I think Zara Phillips sadly will not make the team again, she just hasn't managed to rack up any good results except a couple of novice wins...her and toytown were great, but even with the amount of money, sponsorship and effort put in she just isn't going to make the cut for team GB I don't reckon compared with the brillaint consistency of William, Mary, Tina, Pippa Piggy and Nicola. But agree with all said about this guy, amazing win and recompence for Germany's bad few days.
