Garm is better than Simen, listen to old Borknagar albums and then old Ulver albums, Garm can do MANY MANY vocal styles. Simen sometimes sounds like a drunk old man when he sings.

@joelakastud123 Oh damn, man, now you made me angry. Garm is hellishly versatile, don't get me wrong, Simen ha a great voice and all but he sounds kinda sameish. When I heard La Masquarade Infernale for the first time I was thinking, damn every vocal sounds different. Sideshow Symphonies on the other hand bored me. I got to like the last album but I still miss Garm on vocals.

Garm is more versatile, his technique is better, Simen's voice is not THAT great, Simen's still a great singer but he sounds a tad drunk, and he can't hit notes as good as Garm.

Nope.. beg to differ very much. Garm here makes the song. the end part reminds me of Danny Elfman... and Vortex altough he is a great vocalist..but you could see him struggling to keep up with the work Garm did. His end result was ok, but not as effective as Garm.. imo anyway.
