This is something really important to me. I hope to become a teacher and I have so many ideas as to what I'd like to do with those I teach and what kind of teacher I would like to be. I am very worried that a lot of that will have to come out of my own pocket. I'm willing of course, educating our youth is more important to me than my own material gain, but it shouldn't have to come to that. When funds aren't available it's not surprising that the quality of education can fall short.

i've always emphasized how a teacher can make a boring class, the most fun class.
