  • Love the song!!

  • where has this channel been all my life?!?!?!?! i LOOO<3OOOOVE it!!!

  • @crystalinak oh my goodness...thank you!

  • SLOW DOWN!!!!!!!

  • @iloveshopping789 oh wouldn't it be good if you could change the speed on youtube videos!

  • This goes way to fast for a beginner. Kept having to pause.

  • @mfw4jc pausing is a good thing! :)

  • I only knew the letter F letter u letter letter C and K learned that on the bus in 2nd grade. Watched the video once and know them all without mistakes. :)

  • @StacySmiley good for you!

  • i couldn't get the J. :p this is just so interesting!

  • @always24hrsmiling let me know what trouble you are having with the letter J.

  • I learned it in an hour! It was a little bit to fast, but I just kept pausing it. Yay! Lol. I finally learned it! = ]

  • @jaketaustinlover2 that's the way to learn it! We used this song because the ABC song is much faster! :)

  • what's J?

  • @monkey4352 For the letter J, you use an I handshape and draw a J in the air with it.

  • Wow. I really want to learn sign language and i wasnt sure if this would hep but it was actually very helpful :)

  • @leximarban0529 Great! Keep practicing! Are you able to take an ASL class locally?

  • I can only remember A, B, C, U, V, W, and L D:

  • @kddo82 just go to Google and look up ASL alphabet or something like that put images and print one out, that's how i learned them

  • @kddo82 i am trying to learn the language of sign language because i think it is really cool!!! i learned the whole alphabet keeep trying!!!!

  • @kddo82 Tips? You probably learned it by now, or lost interest. But if you still want to learn or you want to teach someone, here are some pointers I find helpful. D just lookd like a lowercase "b" or "d" depending which hand you use and from hte point of view you look at it. I (i) just point your pinky up, simple; and for J make a little hook. It looks a lot like an actual J. *Continues...*

  • *...Continued* (PART 2) For M put your thumb in between your pinky and your ring finger. If you count starting from the index towards the pinky, it's three (3) fingers down, similar to the three humps in a lower case cursive "m." Then if you move one up, placing your thumb in between the ring finger and the middle finger, you are signing the letter N. One more down between the middle and index and you have your ASL letter T. *Continues...*

  • *...Continued* (PART 3) For the O, place all your fingers above your thumb in a circular form. It should look like an O. =D For the R, cross your middle finger across your index finger. It looks sort of like a lower case manuscript "r," in my opinion. Quite a few people feel the X looks like an "r." It's just a little hook formed by your index finger. Idk if you know the "surfer sign," it means hang loose. *Continues...*

  • @kddo82 *...Continued* (PART 4) If you know it, the you can make the shape of that sign, without shaking it, for the letter y. And z, much like J, is forming the actual shape in the air. But keep in mind: for Z you use your index finger. As opposed to J, where you utilize you pinky. Hope this helps you (or anyone else who reads it). If you would like advice for remembering any other letters, or maybe even some words, feel free to message me or reply.(Continues...)

  • @kddo82 *...Continued* (PART 5) P.S. I am hearing, not deaf. Either way, I enjoy learning sign language very much. :) Thanks for reading and sorry for making it so long. :P xD

  • @kddo82 Keep practicing! :)

  • HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!?

  • i like this song. hahahaha

  • you make the i sign then make a j symble in the air

  • whats j meant to be? don't get that one...anyone help

  • j u swoop an "I" downward like u do a normal j on paper

  • It went kind of fast, but I might just be slow. I really want to learn how to sign. And then eventually converse.

  • Very good video. One of only a few I've seen that actually has some educational value.

  • thank you for uploading,i've been intrested in communiction stuff like 1337,piglatin,japanese etc. so thanks for uploading, the only language/communication that actually needs no knowledge of remembering stuff ( as in words ) ;D 5/5

  • FINALLY! A sign language lesson that actually does the letters correctly!

(unlike "expertvillage" which does several of the letters wrong.)

  • Toph, I have to point out that some of the letters in this video, from my perspective, are not signed correctly. "Correct" signing is somewhat a matter of opinion, and it does vary from region to region as well. It is also a living language that is constantly changing, so it depends on the age of the people doing the signing as well.

  • Thank you for uploading♪〃

  • wow this is so different from new zealand sign.

  • haha i use this to talk to my friends during homeroom theres a deaf kid in my schoolso everyone knows sign language

  • i ma lrening sin langew

  • This is so cool in just one day i finally know how to do sign language even though i'm not deaf i thought it'll be very cool to learn

this is such a fun thing to learn now next i'm going to try to do finger spelling i love this video it helped me a lot know i even know it by heart instead of watching.

  • thanks i've been trying to learn this this helped!

  • cool, except they go too fast.

  • at first it seems like that because you might not know the Alphabets so good or you just need to practice it quicker so you can be used to seeing it no matter how quick it is.the same thing use to happened to me.lol

  • omg its so cute and its so cute and funny when the man goes GOSH and MEE 2 lol

  • i needed to do the alphabet at school at got a 95 on it! {my teacher couldn't understand 1...

  • "e" and "s" look the same. What do you do differntly? :) a Bit fast. But It's cool.

  • I can't slow down the singing unless I sang it myself...trust me, you do not want that! :)

For the letter "E" your thumb is positioned just below your fingertips. For the letter "S" your thumb lays in front of your two middle fingers. Does that make sense?

  • Yes. If you had a picture of them both and not in motion, I could see. ^_^ I try pausing it, but it's hard to look back to compare. Thank you. :)

  • @MyWeeHands try to use adobe audition or transcribe... it can slow down the music without changing the pitch...

  • Thank you. This is a really good and helpful vid. But since I've only just started learning the manual alphabet and this is like the third or so video I'm actually looking at here's a little question: What exactly is the difference between X and Z?

  • "X" uses your bent index finger, palm facing forward and doesn't move. "Z" uses your straight index finger, palm facing forward, and traces the shape of a "Z" in the air. Thank you for your comment! Keep watching and practicing!

  • Thank you very much. I surely will. It's my sixth turn today already. =)

  • That's wonderful! It's a fun song! Next you'll be fingerspelling!

  • My fingers don't want to bend well for the 'i love you' sign. Eek. ^_^ Cute song though.

  • I loved the video but it was too fast. Keeping up with the soundtrack is not so important when you are learning....

  • It is a fast song. I originally wanted to do this with the ABC song (the song we all learned the alphabet too!)...but it is MUCH faster...with no breaks in between...so I choose this one. I love how it repeats at the end as well. Just keep watching...you'll get it with lots of repetition!

  • my youngest daughter really likes this she watched it 3 times and she even tries to do the letters. it is a great video thanks for shring.

  • Thank you! My kiddies are 5 and 7 now and just yesterday my 7 year old amazed my by reading my fingerspelling (I was helping him with his homework). Signing definately helps with memory and literacy skills!

  • My son loves this video. We watch it several times a day.

  • I'm Deaf. This is really nice, but it's a bit FAST for beginners. :-)

  • good job...i was trying to think of a way to help my kids remember the signs!!

  • ty it helped

  • Cute!
