Put a capo on 7 and then using only the bottom three strings play a bminor 7 I think its called, where your fingers go up diagonally along the first 3 frets (in relation to capo) so finger 1 on high e fret 1, finger 2 on b fret and ring finger on fret 3 g string. Pick that and then go to a D chord and then a g major 7.

It's sad the events talked about in this song happened in my country. Good lesson, Marty. For lazy people who know their neck, you can always play your Bm from the 2nd fret, your D from the second (using the Barre-C shape) and keep your G where Marty shows it. I play it like that once, then play the Bm and D that Marty shows you, then play the G from the 7th fret. (Barre-C shape). You can also substitute the 10th fret D for the 5th fret D. (A-shape).. (the fret number is your barre btw, newguys.

@PINHEAD0915 hey dude. you'll pick it up. What Marty's showing you is mainly the E-shape barre chords. Barre the strings (place your index over fret 3 for example, put pressure on each string with that finger) then play an E chord with your last 3 fingers. That's a G barre chord. To play a "minor" barre chord, you just lift your middle finger off.
