I should clarify given that in WWI proper crosswind techniques were usually to land directly into the wind. . .possible on a big circular aerodrome, but on the runways of today, in an aircraft such as this, the side slip/wing low method should be used, and few other sims model this aspect of the flight model very well. This technique doesn't stop when the wheels touch the ground either. . .in this video he centers contols at touchdown, so tipping and ground loops would be the expected outcome.
That's a lot of critique for a demo of the simulator... he's not providing a landing tutorial. ;)
You're right though. Personally, I'm glad he did a crosswind landing. Gives us a better idea of the simulator's physics engine... the reason I just pre-ordered it. ;)
@BrettVisionSLR I'd like to see you post a demonstration of that using the same aircraft and conditions as OP used in the same game. Should be a piece of cake right?
u float up XD

and "Nieuport N.17 Hard wind and turbulence" - old version demo. Now many changes in game, including the FM.

It would be great to see this but with a proper crosswind correction technique used.

Exactly. Proper crosswind techniques for these aircraft types are to not go up in the first place. ;)

Yeah - it wasn't my intent to critique.
My apologies.
