First of all, if a 19-year-old sang this well, it would be cause for celebration! This song is EXCEPTIONALLY difficult. Now to find out that she was only nine years old! That simply ADDS to how talented she is. Is it perfect? No-- then again, 99% of musical theater performances are not perfect, and the number is 99.99% for people who sing this song! She is wonderful, with great potential. (Also, she is able to belt many of the notes, which is especially hard for females, so props to her!)

Dominique has a beautiful voice, the talent is there. One thing I would recommend is not to shout when singing high notes because sometimes it may sound like screaming. But other than that well done! It's is a great song that suited her voice. I was so glad to ahve found this in my inbox.

But, brava for being brave enough to tackle the song. Her rise on "shame" was rushed, but all in all, it was decent. Can't wait to hear her in a few years! :)

She is ok. I have heard it much better by others. Not bad for nine, and certainly someone to be encouraged, but as a musician who knows this song, and has played it on the piano (difficult as heck if you're not really good) I heard too many notes that were off key compared to the music. In general, she should be encouraged as she will do well with some professional training.

I never said she was horrible, I said that she needs work and that in a few years she will likely be much better. And trust me, there were off-key notes. My fiancee will more than happily attest that I hear like a bat. ;)
