it didnt worked. when i drag my photo to the background photo i wanted. the thing i draged over just goes under the background picture and not on. and when it did it took the whole picture so the background was gone, whata?
The edges look really jagged when I extract it. I know there is a way to fade it, but how do i do that? Also where did you get the backgrounds? I'm looking for a pack something similar to that.
Hey Jack! Awesome tutorial! Everything is working perfectly except the last tiny bit... How do i make the "backround" picture my 2nd layer??? I'm totally clueless. I open the new picture from Organizer and it won't make it a layer.
hey great video...but i have an important question...can you cut out some clothes..for example dress from an model....and put that dress on another model...did you do that ever..?
when I moved the extracted picture to the background I had a white background still around the foreground picture, I didn't get an extracted foreground just an erased area. It was set as in your video to none, for background
I have a much faster way...I just crop the people out roughly, drag it all to the new picture THEN erase around them to remove what was in the old picture....then adjust their size to fit...then slightly blur the edges to blend! Try it...it's so much easier xxx
Great tut ! I mean no disrespect here are you sure your name is Jack ? You sound a lot like George. If you were to start talkin about weapons of mass ... I am going to know something is up. lol
All joking aside Thanks for taking the time to make tutorials. It really helps me and a lot of others. Great Job !!!
I am new to Elements and your tutorials have helped me so much.Thank you for the videos and the detailed explanations so people like me can easily follow along without being expected to already have advanced knowledge of tools, etc.I appreciate it so much. Being a mommy,I can learn to do beautiful things with my babies' pictures that I never imagined.I subscribed to your videos!Do you post any tutorials using regular Photoshop?Im considering giving that a try at some point in the future,as well.
do you know how to make a picture with two dif. people who aren't in the same pic, put them together, and make them look like they took a pic together?
Hi ! In case Jack didnt reply to you, you can make a person skinny or fat by clicking the liquify button in your effects pallet. It looks like a warped apple, then a new screen opens and you will see the tools on the left for warping and shrinking. I hope thats what your looking for!
hey thanks... man to tell you the truth.. if it wasn't for your postings.. I'd be honestly stuck.. prolly just throw away this program and try and the cs3... good thing cause my wife would of been pissed for letting me buy this one in the first place..LOL!! thanks
hello very good tutorials. I have 1 question and 1 favor. where do u purchase ur back grounds. also would you be able to show me how to work with layer on elements 6
hey thanks for puting this up :) i was wondering.... how can you cut ONE person out when there is two or more people and then put another person there?
This would be very hard if they are close together. You would have to have the other person stand the exact same way as the other one. Good luck and play with this and let me know how it works out.
Everything works except when I want to save it. It wont let me save it. Help!???

hello I was curious on a couple of things..
I was wondering about making your own back grounds instead of getting them off the net..
and next, is Elements 6 going to be able to do the graphics I desire.. for like posters and flyers ect.?
snoopie30 3 years ago
Yes I use elements for all my web and hand out design work. At least for the graphics.
Thanks for watching.
