For those of you that want to visit Japan try ( WAS ) it is a japanese fast food chain...tehy actually have SUCHI BURGER (2 pieces of rice instead of the bread and shrimp in the middle)

6. mmm, grilled fish.

7. noodle stands are a convenient meal for the busy commuter. some people in tokyo have an hour+ long commute to get home.

8. basashi, or horse sashimi is excellent. very tender and mild in flavor. you should have tried it. very similar to carpaccio or tartare.

9. shiokara, or salted squid, is an acquired taste. if you like seafood and caviar, you could probably come to appreciate it.

1. dried squid is delicious with beer. try it.

2. ramen is slurped not because it's polite, but because it tastes better, as the slurping action allows you to suck in some soup with each bite.

3. grilled chicken hearts are yummy.

4. at mcdonald's, you should try the ebi-filet (filet of shrimp).
