Apple needs to stop suing other companies and start making better phones. Apple know that other companies are moving way faster than they are and don't find a way to move faster than those other companies so the only way they can shut them down or slowing them is by suing them. Apple copied something from Android so then Apple should get sue too.

The patents are ridiculous. Ford is suing all other motor manufacturers for having circular devides that allow the vehicle to roll, also there's an infringement of the "night illumination" patent which allows users to see in the dark via a forward facing lightbulb.

As HTC said yesterday in response to Apples patent claims, “Apple has resorted to competition in the courts rather than the market place.” It's true, this is getting ridiculous. People respect a company who can win market with good products, not endless patent claims. Really? I haven't tried one yet. I was considering to get a Motorola phone with Google OS after my samsung craps out. Then again I hate where most of the cellphone market is going. They still design them to be shitty and unreliable so after a year or two when it breaks. They'll have you coming back to buy another "Newer" more updated phone that also breaks.

I'd first start by making the entire frame out of carbon fiber and other composites as well as really hard scratch resistant materials for the screen. Same stuff they use on blu-rays. Then i'd back my shit with a long ass waranty. Yah the phone wouldn't be as cheap but it sure as hell would outlast all of it's competitors. It would also run the google OS.

LOL, Apple took the invention of Kane Kramer and made it their own. Kramer invented the ipod back in 1979. He held all the patents, but unfortunately, because he was to poor to re-new them, Apple was able to leach them. This will never make it to court. The fact is, Google is behind HTC because HTC makes most of there phones. If apple were to go thru with the lawsuit, Google would pull all of there products from apple. That means the IPhone would not have: Google Maps, Youtube, GMail, Google Talk, Google Voice Technology

I think Apple is a joke because THEY DID NOT CREATE THE FIRST SMARTPHONE! IBM did way back in 1992 with Simon that had a mobile phone, a pager, a PDA, and a fax machine and also applications like calendar, address book, world clock, calculator, note pad, e-mail, and games also lack of physical buttons but a touch screen with which a finger of stylus was used. Also there was an on-screen QWERTY keyboard with predictive text!

Really? I haven't tried one yet. I was considering to get a Motorola phone with Google OS after my samsung craps out. Then again I hate where most of the cellphone market is going. They still design them to be shitty and unreliable so after a year or two when it breaks. They'll have you coming back to buy another "Newer" more updated phone that also breaks.

I'd first start by making the entire frame out of carbon fiber and other composites as well as really hard scratch resistant materials for the screen. Same stuff they use on blu-rays. Then i'd back my shit with a long ass waranty. Yah the phone wouldn't be as cheap but it sure as hell would outlast all of it's competitors. It would also run the google OS.

LOL, Apple took the invention of Kane Kramer and made it their own. Kramer invented the ipod back in 1979. He held all the patents, but unfortunately, because he was to poor to re-new them, Apple was able to leach them. Apple has openly admitted to this, but still haven't given Kramer a single penny for his work. I guess Apple now is too big to pay the little guys. If I remember the ipod was Apple's turning point up wards.

I think apple might have started a fight that they're going to regret. It's pretty clear that Apple is trying to go after Google (mainly android) as well. And Google is not going to stay out of the fight when it's leading android phone manufacturer being attacked. It's even possible to see Microsoft involved in this since a lot of Winmo phones were mentioned in the lawsuit too. Not to mention that this lawsuit might affect every cellphone manufacturer in the market right now. Good luck apple.

This will never make it to court. The fact is, Google is behind HTC because HTC makes most of there phones. If apple were to go thru with the lawsuit, Google would pull all of there products from apple. That means the IPhone would not have: Google Maps, Youtube, GMail, Google Talk, Google Voice Technology
