Beautiful Dodge . My first car was a 1959 Dodge Coronet 2 dr. My car had a 326 Cu In poly engine, 3 speed push button transmission ans a posi rear. The car ran great and was a real bear on the snowy hills here in north east Pennsylvania. I remember looking through the engine options and wishing I had a D500. Even though, by 59 the D500 option was a 383.

owned one, a great car, couldn't pass a gas station without filling up. With dual four-barrels it was a great straight line machine. Had two problems, changing spark plugs because of the hemi wells and salt collected in the eyebrows over the headlights and corroded the unprotected metal.
Love that V8 rumble. Love the way you punched it coming around the corner, now that's real power. These old American cars are awesome. Beautiful to look at but power as hell. This coming from a life long foriegn car fan.
