Holy lean! I have always been to afraid of riding that hard on any public road, or at least one with trees all around the sides. If it were just straight open field then i'd be a little more tempted...maybe I've just seen 7 to many of my friends die on there bikes.

i did! Along with getting my elbow and my shoulder on the ground. haha ;-) I knew I was about to wreck. I just took too long to decide what I was going to do. It was either sit up straight and ride off the mountain or just go with it and slide on the left side and pray. There was no easy way out of the situation. So I took my chances and braced myself for the impact.

Gear important ,but she got lucky. She went of the road and could just as well have hit a tree. No leather will help you then.

I did hit a tree! That tree actually saved me from going further down the mountain. The bad part was that when the bike started flipping in mid air, it hit the same tree that I hit, and the bike came down on top of me. Lessons were learned the hard way that day! :-)

It was a custom full leather suit that I had made. Reflex Gear was a company overseas that made them but I think they aren't around anymore...

haha yeah that was me :) I thought I had that double apex turn but i was an idiot for riding on shot tires. I had been on the track right before the Deals Gap trip. My front tire just ran out of tread and away I went. Plus my body positioning was wack. Live and learn. Just thankful I got to live in order to learn ;)
